I get that Verno is insane and shouldn't have been dropped. But why is this so personal all of a sudden? People get dropped out of teams all the time. He wasn't able to gel and got dropped, big deal. He was the top 3 upcoming players form tier 2 anyway. Why the need to get so defensive or emotional, especially by the viewers? Yay also got dropped remember? So was Nzr, now Derke etc. I dislike this "revenge" narrative lmao. It's not like they bullied him out. Can't you'll keep professional decisions professional?

Edit: Goes both ways. Puts pressure on both kids. Brawk and Verno.

its the excuses everyone came up with "we just didnt see eye to eye" to a rookie like its fucked. the fact that bonkar got dropped as well made it evev worse.

also verno hinted towards them not telling the truth so im all here for it. im glad verno is doing well and glad that nrg is doing shit

yeah. Any team that's not first seed is in trouble in playoffs. Nrg isnt even out yet.Anything can happen in playoffs. And Mibr is beating nrg with or without verno.

Tbh, it just seems like they shifted the blame onto him. Legit the way Aspas talks about him sounds like a different person from how NRG made it sound. Also, NRG hasn't improved at all by getting rid of him.

same thing can happen again if mibr fails to make top 3 or perform poorly in int.

I highly doubt it. The Verno to MIBR move looks like it worked out for both sides, even if they don't make it to top 3. The team is clearly good and they get along well.

  1. They were passive aggressive towards the idea that he was the primary reason towards the teams failure.

  2. They dropped him after a singular kickoff not very common.

  3. The narrative they tried to portray him under was just wrong.

Context is important. NRG had just come off winning two offseason events, including a respectable offseason international event in SOOP. Then they have a disappointing kickoff that while unexpected can happen to anyone and shouldn't disrupt the entire season (100t did just as bad and now they are one game away from topping the group). Then they kick Verno and Bonkar for what was described as chemistry issues that they state started during the offseason and basically scapegoat both of them. Then they show up in stage 1 with an abysmal performance while verno became a big contributor for a BRAZILIAN org that looks to be even better than what was predicted of them. So yeah, maybe it's not revenge but it looks like NRG are making a lot of bad decisions that screw up their stability and almost mess up the potential of their current and former players.
