Liquid's poor reads

Time and time again Liquid try to force into a site when it's incredibly obvious that the entire enemy team is posted up. That past round is the second time they've committed to taking a site with an Astra ult even though it was very easy to see that the whole of G2 was on the other side. They never seem prepared to just rotate and try something else. Concerning.

Yeah, I like the idea of having multiple people calling, but in practice I think it is always best to have a single voice leading.

What about when they come across a team that has solid anchors and better players than them? Then they will fall apart.

Its almost as if you can see where the entire enemy team is and they can't

Oh, come on. There's multiple utility being thrown, mate. It has been obvious both times, and not just because we have the advantage of seeing both sides.

While their reads aren't great, the only thing that makes it obvious is that you can see both teams. Also Liquid has enough skill to get away with a lackluster IGL situation at least for now and I'm sure the calling will only get better over time.

Link literally just said in the interview that their reads are poor and the worst part of their game. Both times they pushed the Astra ult it was a disaster waiting to happen. They were too slow, they allowed the rotations to occur, and they actually should have read it on both occasions because utility was being thrown from multiple agents. But whatever.
