The red and white flag is for england, one of the 4 countries that make up the nation of the United kingdom. Great Britain iirc includes only the main land mass containing Scotland, Wales and England but if I'm wrong someone can correct me on that. The 4th country that makes up the UK is northern Ireland, which is north of Ireland and West of the main land mass of England Scotland and Wales. Each of the 4 countries have their own flags. Wales has a nice red dragon on theirs and Scotland has a blue background with a white X. Each has their own capital city.
