i never understood america's school system, but if youre 15/16, you should start caring about your looks and how you act. dont act like a bitch, act like sinatraa or something, take care of your face, your hair, your drip, your grades, your social life, your friends, etc. in resumé, if you wanna be cool and popular, act it

Popularity is not as big of a deal but there still is people who are cool and lame, if you are a cool person and talk to alot of people you will get invited to parties but if you spend all day playing Valorant or watching tiktok or whatever and don’t talk to anybody than you won’t get invited to anything it’s as simple as that.

Also since it sounds like you’re a freshman if you want to go to parties and be cool make friends with the upperclassmen

it only matters if you care

nothing wrong with caring but i mean it all depends on how much value you put on it lmao

Depends what is considered popular in your high school. In mine it was drugs and binge drinking. Once high school was over we were all fucked and the so called "nerds" went to college (where the real fun is), started their careers, etc. Literally the best advice is to just be yourself. If your in a situation where your unhappy with yourself, we've all been there, than be honest with yourself and make the changes necessary to become who you want to be.

agreed, all the 'popular' people in my school just go about drinking, smoking and taking drugs on the weekend. If you really want to be popular to the point you start doing that stuff you need to get yourself checked out

I agree, its all about balance. Its good to have fun, but its also important to think about your future and most importantly to just stay true to who you are.

Serious advise: the people you met on day one, will stick with you for rest of the high school/college.

My take & conclusion(from what I have seen)

Nope all those "cool" & "popular" guys in my school are fucked rn they are struggling in their career or some of them doesn't even have anything which they can describe as career. Best option would be to focus on your career in these years(these are most crucial years). Career doesn't only mean academics it could also be sports or your passion but keep academics in check in case your career choice doesn't work out.

it won't harm you, but it's not gonna help you either. you don't have to be popular to have fun with your friends, plus high school parties are shit anyway so you won't miss out. as soon as everyone graduates nothing matters. just play valorant all day
