Stars are a measure of your activity, not your upvote-to-downvote ratio. The more you post/reply the more stars you get, you lose stars if u get banned by mods

like if u get downfragged a lot ur gonna be slower to get 4 stars but not by much and if u get crazy amt of upvotes ur faster
