In the original announcement, Sentinels also confirmed the Cubert Academy players will have special contracts. Due to being unable to compete in Ascension — as they are an academy team — every player will be eligible to receive offers after the midpoint of the season. These buyouts will be capped at $10,000 USD or less, a value "far below historical market rates."
