I’ve seen plenty of people glaze the guy but for most of the year he was heavily underperforming fragging wise. Fnatic need good fraggers to help support boaster however crashies just wasnt doing that
heavily underperforming fragging wise is a silly argument when he did his job super well + fragged enough. fnatic had plenty of firepower in kaajak, alfajer and chron this year
Sure he had good utility but he was not fragging enough. He barely went positive tor about 2 thirds of the year. Plus if he truly fragged enough they could have won Toronto as every map in that series was close and a few kills could make the difference
he frags sufficiently, and like 15 said u alr have three world class shooters, they just under performed when it matters
What makes Fnatic good? The fact that they have godlike aimers and a godlike IGL that has some of the best calls in the world. What is the problem? The IGL’s mechanics aren’t up to par but it is worth the sacrifice as long as the other 4 can shoot. Everybody has bad days but one of the most important aspects of being a pro that you have to focus on is staying consistent. If you look at the games that he played during kickoff to toronto his stats were all over the place. During the year kaajak and chronicle were pretty consistent and during the middle of the year alfa was slightly inconsistent as this was around the time where he started to be put on different agents. During this time crashies was not the guy to consistently step up and carry the team. Even if you believe he frags sufficiently (which i dont) it still brings me back to my point that he was glazed way too much this year. He does still deserve a lot of credit but not the amount that he received.
If boaster wasnt there and was replaced with someone else they would’ve definitely lost 9 times out of 10. His IGLing just isn’t replaceable and he is a core reason of why Fnatic is so good.
fnatic brought crashies in for his experience and being the mid rounder of the team since it was essentially boaster doing all of the micromanaging in 2024, and he did a great job at his role.
i just don’t get why you are blaming crashies for the toronto loss when boaster costed his team the trophy by going -30.
If you were to remove boaster Fnatic are cooked. You cant expect much from boaster fragging wise and just like I said earlier boaster’s wont be a problem if you have 4 shooters. Crashies brings good utility but his fragging is inconsistent. Some of his games hes bot frag some 4 frag some too frag its just too inconsistent. If he just fragged out a little more on that day they could’ve won it.
What crashies has brought to Fnatic is irreplaceable. If they got rid of him they’d instantly become much worse
So what your saying is crashies is better than leo? And if your talking about current active players that can replace him, Riens could replace him Sayonara could replace him, even Sheydos could probably replace him. Point is theres plenty of replacements for the guy but Fnatic just arent gonna do it because their gonna stick with what they know works (their probably gonna be fine next year with this roster) and also other player’s contracts.

Trent, best player itw imo. It would’ve been unanimous but he had two of his teammates grief his shit at Bangkok despite dropping the most kills for an initiator player in a grand final (more than brawk and Leo) and his coach griefed him with perma Tejo at Champs/stage 2

He literally cried the most besides mindfreak after winning Toronto. It meant so much to him, and he finally got it. Also got the MVP award and was lowkey the GOAT for PRX throughout 2025

If I had to pick one though, I'd have to say ange1, despite his Mediocre performance towards the end of this year he actually played pretty well considering he was an IGL that assisted with entries. If he stayed on agents who's lives weren't as important in midround rather than important initiators like gekko at the time. I think he would've been great. Even when he didn't perform at his peak he was a great leader.
I see were your coming from and completely agree with your opinion. Navi used to be my favorite team (now its liquid but only because they blew up the fpx core and dropped suygetsu) and i still really like them as an org. Unlike a lot of orgs out there they actually pick up interesting players and try out new things (even tho most of the times it doesnt work out) which is really fun to watch.
I don't think they dropped Suygetsu, I think he got bought out by KC IIRC, correct me if I'm wrong.
But yeah I do see why a lot of people stopped watching NAVI. I would've too if they gave me a choice
