Valorant World Cup

Just imagine a World Cup event for VALORANT where different countries around the world battle it out to see which nation is truly the best.

It'd have a qualifier for each region, similar to how the World Cup Qualifiers are in real life (Group Stages for countries in the same continent). 5-7 players per team with each nation having their best players from the country. Of course, having the main event/playoffs held on LAN with a crowd would be amazing.

Some of the teams I reckon would shine here are USA, South Korea, Turkey, Russia, Canada, and Brazil. Just imagine Turkey vs Canada for example where we'd see cNed along with some of the SMB players against the likes of TenZ, Subroza, mixed with other Canadian players.

We all love the Champions Tour, but something like a World Cup of some sort would definitely be interesting.

Yeah, this would definitely be a good team. I can see Canada doing really well against some of the other countries that would be there.

no thx world cup with only 1 us team? ya so other players dont have any chance to prove themself vct is best thing rn so many quafilers every team getting chance

yeah and it would feature only the best of the best of each country + i wouldnt wanna replace vct with this, it'd just be good to have this if vct isn't ongoing, similar to how international events in football don't interrupt league matches within the country

United Kingdom would probably be a good team too with people like soulcas, Boaster, dephh, and L1NK. Imagine this team against a team like Japan for example, it would be a good matchup for sure. There are actually so many possibilities for matchups of different countries .

CS used to have this with WCG events.

It ended up being rather puggy as teams with mixed players from USA/CA had to use ringers and same as SWE/NOR teams.

Nah the swedes have their own teams and I think EG used to be an all-canadian squad as well.

not always. the EG roster went through a ton of changes. they also used shaguar for a while on the team when stevenson took a break, and then he went back to team3D beside 3D also used an american stand-in at the time.

NiP/SK, team 4K from the UK, and aAa from france were the only consistent teams that made it to WCG without a stand-in from another team that was mixed.
