Sentinels

I know this match between SEN and F4Q means nothing to the tournament anymore, but I feel psychologically this is pretty bad for Sentinels. Before, they’ve had this aura around them that they are the unbeatable giants of the valorant scene, but now after losing 2-0 to G2 and dropping a map to F4Q they seem more like a beatable team. This could be huge psychologically, especially for the side of the bracket their on since it’s almost all NA teams. The kind of mindset that I’m sure has been pounded into some NA players heads especially after being dominated time and time again is that SEN is unbeatable, and now that myth has kind of been shattered. What do y’all think?

Idk bro, especially for the players that aren’t used to the big stage I’d say having some assurance that Sentinels actually can be beaten is very reassuring and can help them play better

This is basically a team that has nothing to lose and their goal is to beat Sentinels atleast vs a team that dont care or care about the outcome of this series. Who cares?

They are not even trolling. They just lost the split fair and square. Despite that, they are not going to lose to envy no way.

They are all still super cocky just looking at them so I think they are still just having fun also they aren’t being much new to the table

Yea exactly it just doesn’t effect players as much (example all of g2’s failing esport ventures)

We’ll see against envy. Envy has all the momentum coming into this and sentinels look rusty or slow to adapt. Split and icebox look slightly weak and wounded so it’s looking hard for them to put up numbers consistently. Once they play envy and if they beat them they’ll know what to do next and get all the momentum back.

Did you watch the same game as me? Cause to me it looked like sentinels were obviously not even trying they were just rushing things, playing like a ranked game

  1. I agree that will give their opponent more confidence
  2. SEN will be showing new strat they prepared for in playoff, they can turn up a gear if they need to. They don't want to show any new strat right now understandably. And teams know that, no top team will be naive enough to think SEN will run the same thing they showed in group stage, they know they will be seeing a brand new SEN

So I still think SEN will still be able to outskill their opponent, just judging by the past where they are able to turn up when they need to

When Gambit gets a close 2-0 win against CR with saving comps and strats, they are trash but when SEN literally loses a map saving strats, they werent even trying
COPIUM

difference is if gambit lost theyd be out, even if sen loses 13-0 13-0 to f4q literally doesnt change anything

I know this is a non relevant match but Shahzam's jett plus op is becoming more and more worse. On split he couldn't hit easy shots, op on attack is not very wise, almost not having any impact on the agent. Same goes on icebox against g2. But of course this game is just a show match.

100t and NV look really strong and confident rn and everyone was expecting SEN to be the same. I think the pressure is really starting to get to them and if they don't step it up they could go down to NV right away

I am not a sen fan even though this may sound like a biased sen fanboy take, but after seeing all of these teams compete on lan. I don't think any one of these teams will be prepared for a full strength sen, and this includes the other NA teams. I think the top two teams who do have a shot are VS and GMB.

Either you didnt watch the game or you’re braindead, even a plat could see they were not playing normally and carefully

I'm guessing he probably got overconfident after the Breeze game and underestimated F4Q.

Even wanting SEN to win Berlin, I think they won't. They didn't look as good as they were the last tournament

Edit: lol

I agree with you, but the caveat is. Are SEN currently at full strength? Tomorrow will tell I guess

From my perspective, them dropping two maps in a series victory and losing a series 2 to nothing will make every other team highly believe they're more than capable of defeating SEN.
In my opinion, this feeling wasn't as big before Berlin, teams would go into matches thinking they were gonna surprise, but would end up being defeated. Now that they've proved gods can bleed too, it'll be a matter of time people start thinking of them as humans, and not so much as gods.
