Why don't EU players just switch to val?

They are seeing a washed ass Shahzam, 3 MDL players and 1 mechanically gifted but braindead player run over everyone in Val... if they switched they would win every tourney and the prize pool for riot is prob gonna be better since it's prob gonna be a % of a skin's revenue + minimuim... anyways I just wanted to say this coz why not.

Because Tier 1 CS players in EU are still successful. If Val overtakes CS in viewership and money (prize and salaries) we could see some migrate to VAL, but until then I doubt it.

If EU players switch to valo then NA have to find another game

EU CS isn't dead, unlike NA.

Because EU cs is already very succesful unlike NA cs. so they dont need to switch.

If I am going to be honest with you, in my own humble opinion without being sentimental of course, without offending anyone who thinks different from my own point of view, but also by looking into this matter in distinctive perspective, I would like to say I have nothing to say

EU Val just not that big and EU CS pays big so there's no point in switching unless you are a washed NA player

  1. CSGO is still really really popular in EU and overall it still is like 2nd biggest esport title.
  2. They make good amount of money, even players on some of the T2 teams.
  3. They have played CS for years, so its more comfortable for them and they have dreams in that game.
  4. They love the game and prefer it over Valorant. Like many CSGO pros do.

In NA its logical, since there's less and less competitive teams and the scene has always been kind of rocky. In EU its not logical unless you don't clearly have future in CSGO like in case of Jamppi (before unban).

Valorant in EU is very trash unlike Val in NA in here most of the time people doesn't speak an if they speak they don't even use english.
Instalocking in EU happens in every single game, i have seen immortal games with a 4 dueslit compo and be forced to play a controller when its not even my main role(sentinel).
Valorant EU region has to compete vs another 2 regions CIS and Turkey while in CSGO regions dont really have spots, u just play a qualifier and the best teams go in the the tournament, and because eu cis have the top teams the viwership is mostly european.
EU loosing to NA in valorant doesn't help the situation either.
In csgo its way easier, if people doesn't speak or u dont understand them u have flashes, nades, molotovs and a smoke, if u are a sentienl/initiator/controller in valorant u probably only have 1 of them so in CSGO u have way more individual options than in valorant, this doesnt happeen in NA cause its basically a continent divided by 2 countries and most people in there speak basic english while in europe u have a bunch of counties with their individual lenguage and different cultures all over the place.
Money in EU is very bad in comparation to CSGO, there are very few torunaments and their pricepools are very small.

Not saying this is a thing for them, but if I was a current CS pro in EU, aside from there being no reason to switch, I would be discouraged by the fact that so many players can look like mechanical gods in valorant. The invidivual mechanical skill gap is smaller in this game than compared to CS. That is extremely frustrating from an egotistical perspective.

Your assessment of EU ranked, bar the issue with language barriers is the same as NA ranked. I have played it, they're not that different.
