That's all you really need in this game tbh. It all comes down to how cohesively players can play with each other whilst making plays together - i.e. how well they are covering angles for each other, how well they are trading each other out, how well they are stacking utilities to set create possibilities for power plays and so on.

its so much better than bind and I shouldn't have to explain why. Bind is just so bad compared to every other map.

There is nothing special about this game tactically, you can be among the best even if all you do is "rush a/b simulator".

It just feels boring tho, there is always a killjoy or a cypher doing cringe setups and a main just gets smoked, like there its always the same, u cant even flank or lurk in ranked and mid conrtol is useless but somehow my mates thing they gotta defend mid and keep dying

no you can, but the flank/lurk needs to be good cuz its mostly anticipated

i agree it sucks but for a differnt reason. sova and odin is so dumb on the map

i don't think it's a map like icebox where u rarely explore mid

It takes way too long as a defender tho, also choke points on this map are so small

Ye but the key difference of icebox is that the choke points are way wider. In ascent 2 of them are doors and 2 of them are like 5m wide

I'm the same. I dislike Ascent more than any other map. It's boring as all fuck.
