lol
do yall really think so?
why cant val players admit that val atm is as good as cs t3/t2? most val pros prefer cs and they just play val because they failed in cs
its not that deep
if tenz had the choice to be t1 cs or t1 valorant, u can be sure he would be pro in cs

cs is harder mechanically

val has too much shit/blender that no t1 would instantly get into t1 the moment they start playing

yeah he wouldn't jump into val and beat sentinels, however, the fundamentals are the same. the games are similar enough that the skill ceiling of a player in one game will be pretty similar to his skill ceiling in the other game granted he grinded the same amount both quality-wise and quantity-wise

fighting games are similar, and players jump from one game to another and own in both because they're good fundamentally, however, val frogs think it's not the same in valorant
i don't get it, it's like watching watching futsal and thinking ronaldo wouldn't own in futsal, when the futsal's talent pool is visibly worse than football's talent pool, just like in cs/val
do you really think t2/t3 veterans got good out of nowhere? nah, there's a reason players like sick zellsis and whatever na player played in t2 for so long

so no idea why val frogs cope that hard

that's the point
i'm not saying he won't be successful he might/he might not
i'm just saying it would take time for him to adapt
he won't instantly become demon1 or aspas

but yes it just takes time

i said so cuz i've seen so many fans say he can come to val and instantly dominate because of aim

He probably would.
People overestimate how easy it is to adjust to valorant from CS, if you've spent 20k+ hours in one game.
A couple months of spamming the game to adjust, and he's easily be at tier 1 level.

People genuinly overestimating the complexity of valorant. We're not talking about a random gold nova swapping. We're talking about probably the most naturally gifted CS player of all time.

for real.
they think the strategical complexity of valorant is big, however, in the end, it's literally whoever has the better aim, timing, positioning, and all the tac-fps fundamentals that are very hard to measure, it's complex, but not in the way they think. sort of like sports like basketball and football
the strategical depth of valorant (and to be honest, from most videogames) is not that deep, it's not chess. it's a game of knowing which tool beats another tool given a situation and most of the time the decisions a player can take aren't that many

it's why coaches know how to set up good strats but they can't get out of ascendant

People forget KennyS played val for like 2 months and hit radiant. This is one of the most washed t1 players at the time. Xaccurate swapped, and is playing in tier1.
Valorant isn't some hyper complex game. It just takes some adjusting, and if you're playing 8hours a day. You'd adjust in a couple months. Especially if you're the top 0.001% in a similar title.

i believe so as well, this game is still young anyone can come in

#25

It isn't just because it's young.
It's because CS is so similar and shares the exact same fundamentals. Adjusting to abilities just takes getting used to.
People forget that aim and core mechanics can easily get people into high imm/rad, and then once you're fully used to the game flow, going into comp isn't hard. Especially if we're talking about people who've been competing for years, at a high level.

It's why xaccurate spent a few months just grinding ranked. Joined a t1 team.

Any CS pro would easily adapt to Valorant mechanics in no fucking time if they have the right players around them and work ethic too. This is just a fact.

He would farm EMEA for sure, but he wouldn't survive a minute in NA T2

maybe but probably not, its all up to him if he can adapt well to this game, fundamentals are the same but shooting, movement etc are very different
not all good cs players can play well valorant and not all good valorant players can play well cs

Bro what. I’ve never seen a fan base so mad that a rival game gets attention that they go to a website for that rival game or play the rival game just to hate on it. I’ve played CS and VAL or years and they are both fun, different games. No need to hate on either. Quit coping

its crazy for you to pose the question of why val frogs cope that hard when in reality nobody in the val community gives a shit about what the cs community has to say about a game they will never accept

cs mechanics arent the same as val. cs incentivizes spraying, while val you literally just cant spray consistently. also, movement and the new world of utility will be completely different. also, zywoo will have to switch to rifling, or occasionally awp. In cs you always awp on ct and t, val is way diff,
