there's no justification for any tier 1 player being unable to play any sentinel character (all take 0 skill in terms of utility), and some controllers like brim and omen which take little to no skill. I will admit harbor, astra and viper will take some time getting used to but I don't think they're anywhere near as difficult to play in pro as initiators/duelists. initiators are really particular with utility timings and duelists require the most mechanical skill.

jokes aside, think about this. A player who is a dive duelist won't be able to adjust to the sentinel playstyle of just sitting on cams the whole round, they are proactive players and are used to the action.
They may also not be the best people in clutches, since usually senti and smokes are last alive and dive duelists generally die early on.
and on attack (i see this with myself even tho im not as good as a t1 player), they might go in first as a smokes and die every round causing the team to lose easily winnable rounds.

u cant be a 1trick anymore but u dont have to play like everything , 3 agents should be enough (unless ur smokes)

compared to viper astra harbor , omen is pretty simple
only thing that takes skill with his kit is the TP and we are at a point in valorant where if u cant use taht properly u dont belong in T1 valorant

Astra just has a steep learning curve. Once you het a hang of it Astra is pretty easy
But you gotta think a bit before using all of Omen's utilities other than smoke cuz when used properly his kit its strong af

the recall and astra ults are getting pretty good now
and im talking about the role itself
lurking on viper and astra is infinitely harder than saving omen flash on attack for the retake util dump or using omen tps to get up to elevation or get out of site from anchoring
