EMEA is just inferior

No excuse as they played on LAN at kick off

its so sad that the teams that were once meant to rule the world got cocky and became washed :(

this is the best our region can produce now that the oldheads are gone

But it doesn’t make sense how they could be worse

How could a decrease in ping make you worse

Heretics didn't + play with a sub + play with Riens on his own.

Heretics is gonna become even better with Wo0t

I agree except this goes for every team regardless of region. This experience diff is the reason why I think EDG can muster a top 4 finish. Not because they are good but because they have played against some of the best international teams on Valorants biggest stage that when it comes to do or die moments they can easily do.

TH did not play worse. PRX and SEN are just simply better.

it didn't make them worse they just didn't have the experience on it and definitely not compared to teams like Sen and Prx that have insane amounts of experience.

Heretics could've won both of the series they played in 2-0 fashion but they crumbled in the high pressure situations if they can learn from this they will be a force in the future

Experience gets so overlooked man it's insane

Fucking Loud the so called best roster of all time got 3-0'd by Optic while having 2 map bans because their players crumbled under the light whereas Optic had been under those lights as Envy (3-0 loss v Gambit).
Once Loud gained that experience and got reality checked the next masters they got back up to win Champions over that same team that 3-0 them and in 2 of those maps that hey won came in that grand final it came down to inches (the maps that they would've lost at masters because they lacked the experience)

Acend crumbled against 100T at masters a team with far more experience than them then came back in champions after some controversy to win the first champions.

EG got reality checked by Fnatic in Tokyo and with that experience under their belt they came into Champions prepared for anything and they damn won it.

Would not be surprised if a team like Heretics wins an international trophy this year

I understand how painful it is to see your team losing. One can go into depression, and thus resulting to denial and delusion. I suggest you go outside to distract yourself. Good luck soldier, heartbreak is hard. Please reach out for help if you ever need any

Bro your team had LAN(ish) experience at KickOFF and are playing with most of the crowd on their side. In hindsight you got 2 very tough teams and couldn't close it, but don't say experience diff since GEN.G made it and they have a ranked demon turned T1 pro in Karon.

even fns said that fnatic wasn't used to being down in emea, which most likely messed w their heads as they were constantly trying to close the gap. just bc you're experienced doesn't mean you can adapt to a situation you most likely never been in

Madrid would get called mickey mouse anyways if EMEA wins

I mean I'm gonna be pissed asf if Fnatic doesn't change their comps and the way they play like I really don't mind them not making Madrid as long as they can show their best for the rest of the year now

Time time time but Fnatic ain't using it seems

Nah international events are a whole new stage (some of the best of all time have crumbled there because of experience diff (Loud v Optic masters grand finals for example, Acend/Gambit v 100T, EG v Fnatic etc.)
Yeah Karon is a demon but Miniboo and Riens also played like demons but they just weren't on the winning team unfortunately

idk bout mickey mouse, still a masters tourney. But fnatic is a good team, they just never experienced being down like that in a while. They will probably fix their mistakes and be a top team again dw.Its just the beginnig of the year.

TH looked dangerous with a sub, and first international nerves. They a great ass team with some amazing players, I would not b surprised if EMEA goes on a run at shanghai just cuz of how many rookies they have.

I'm not comparing a single player lol, all of GENG ( except munchkin last year, and meteor 21' ) haven't been to an international stage, and they went to playoffs flawlessly. TH just got ahead of themselves blowing leads stupidly 2 games in a row (up 7-1 against sen twice and split against prx). If regional playoffs were double bracket I don't think TH even makes it to madrid NAVI were mid as hell, Fnatic would've qualified.

If we're gonna Lock/IN for a single game as international experience, then this conversation is pointless have a good day.

ok so since the 1 LOCK//IN game helped GENG.G's players so much, why didn't the game against SEN help TH against PRX. I mean by your logic TH's players would have the same INT experience as the GEN.G players coming into madrid. Stop making excuses lol, TH are just not there yet, and there is no shame in that. But saying "NO IT'S BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE EXPERIENCE" is such cope.
