Why are people crying that it's unfair when each team got to play each other... So they all had equal and fair shot which is way more fair than the single elim play off format where T1 got fucked by the seeding even though they were better than Gen G

How was t1 better than Gen G

Even if it's debated, double elimination format would have been a better way of finding the second best team

mibr had a tuff group aswell but playins were the same but the format is honestly bad bcs It should always be win differential instead of map differential i'd agree it would make sense if it was bo5 and not bo3 u could argue map pool and bans fck every team more or less than seeding too much rng when it could been solved by a different format

theyre complaining about the format because a teams like EG got in playing 1 map when we all know if LEV or 100t were in that group EG wouldn't sniff playoffs

EG, FNATIC AND PRX got seeded that way cz of past year performance which is absolutely fair

Its not fair lol because it was never like that in the past even if your team was the best the whole year u would compete the same way with other in a NEW SEASON but this time out of nowhere teams get an advantage they could implement it first at a tournament instead of the fckn qualifiers and then your season is over for half a year like lmao

How do u think seedings in any sport works? Based on past performance. For a 11 team format where u can't have a symmetric system one team had to get an unusual roadmap so they decided to give the best teams from each league 1 less game.

huh wdym seeding in any sport? they literally are only put in a different pool doesnt mean they dont compete fairly they have to play the same amount of games

tbf that probably was the most fair seeding without riot being biased towards a team or assuming which teams were better

that is a valid point aswell honestly valorant formats are one of the worst out there out of any esport game how does riot does some god like format for worlds and even leagues but fck up so bad with valorant for no reason at all they could easily increas their air time make everything more spicy but not in a bad way yet they choose all the worst formats

There are 11 teams this year in each league.. The format was always gonna be weird to fit in uneven amount of teams.. But favoring EG, Fnatic and PRX better seeded groups wasn't unfair at all considering they were the best team of their respective leagues.

it should've been a Swiss stage in place of both groups and play ins, actually give every team an equal shot instead of just hoping riots "random" seeding for groups is fair

tbh this format makes sense only if the play ins would be all bo5 then the map differential would be more accurate and less rng

bo5 would be better, but I don't see a world where eg making playoffs after 1 series is ever a competitive format, they are worse than every team in group B and 3 of the teams in group A
