bo5 would be better, but I don't see a world where eg making playoffs after 1 series is ever a competitive format, they are worse than every team in group B and 3 of the teams in group A

it should've been a Swiss stage in place of both groups and play ins, actually give every team an equal shot instead of just hoping riots "random" seeding for groups is fair

100t got screwed by format / riot seeding for engagement. asuna is OK, definitely on the hot seat, but him and bang being a package deal makes it really hard to actually replace him with out completely rebuilding

I will never understand why they didn't just do a Swiss stage with the number 1 seed getting a first round bye with bo1s until decider matches (for both qualification and elimination games) where they switch to bo3. just remove play in stage entirely and just replace groups with Swiss so instead of having a randomly seeded stacked group like group B in NA. Any team in group B sweeps all group C teams, it's just sad especially since this is the only way to qualify for the first masters event
