vct finals throwing

Since in the challenger playoffs the 5th and 8th seed have to go up against sentinels, I can practically imagine that tsm or faze would want to go 6th seed so they can get 2 potential wins before playing sentinels (I feel like nv, 100t and xset are on the same level, this is also assuming tenz doesnt throw)
with top 3 making berlin, the lower bracket is way more supportive
tactical throwing incoming

don’t forget that rise may be able to upset sentinels like how andbox did and send them to lowers

We all know if SEN are thrown to lowers they are gonna win the whole thing. So tactically avoid going to lowers if SEN are already there.

that's fair, but playing SEN early gives you a higher chance of playing them again later

There's no point in qualifying to anything if a team doesn't believe that they can take on these big oppositions. I don't know about Faze's plans but Wardell said on his stream and twitter that they want to win every game.

throwing to avoid the best team is a beta mindset

I don't agree.. Tsm bought leviathan cos they realized that he fit in with what they needed, not because Noble beat them

its a tactical throw from both faze and tsm, not sure faze could win even if they went try hard but they get the favourable seed for playoffs.
