Why does riot constantly give EU home field advantage at tournaments?! Americas teams have made the finals on away soil 5 times yet EU has only made the finals outside of EU 2 times
Not to mention one of the 2 times was mickey mouse (Lock-In)
EU clearly does not have the mental fortitude that Americas teams have or else they would have better success away from home🤷🏼🤷🏼🤷🏼

Had an entire year of tournaments outside of EU and yet still a huge disparity.....

If u rly don't think having to travel, adjust sleep, live somewhere unfamiliar/uncomfortable won't affect you then ur dumb. Not to mention all of those factors take time away from practicing and vod reviewing.

Stay mad the numbers don't favor ur favorite region😡😡😡

Fnatic won 2/3 of tourneys that were outside of eu and got 4th in champs

1 of those is mickey mouse, argue with a wall IDC it is known that half the teams who went were super under practiced and u can tell by the gameplay. Just look at Liquid game
So 1/3 when they had the best team in EU by far no argument
Plus I'm talking Abt regions as a whole EU teams play like dog outside of EU and it's facts while numerous different Americas teams have proven they r finals lvl teams even outside the Americas. Name me some EU that have proven that

Its their fault for being under practiced.
Also fnatic had to travel, adjust sleep, live somewhere unfamiliar and they lost lots of time that they could spend practising and vod reviewing. I guess EG champs win might a mickey mouse after all 🤷

while numerous different Americas teams have proven they r finals lvl teams even outside the Americas

NRG got shit on by chinese team, kru got beaten up by gia, loud won against navi only with 2 round difference(navi choked the most important round and it was a 2v5)

What is the quote for? Do you not remember how SEN, NV/OPTIC, LOUD and EG have all made finals outside of Americas?
Name me one other EU team in the 3 years of this game being played internationally that have done that. Even PRX have made finals outside of APAC multiple times.

In regards for lockin idc I disagree due to contracts and other teams having to start from scratch but even still my point above is valid and is a clear gap between the overall skill/fortitude in Americas teams vs EU.

Ofc I think fnc is a great team, but EU does not stand up as a whole to other regions🤷🏼And it's bullshit that EU has had double the rest of worlds tournaments yet don't even get an EU team in the final every time

Yeah because there were only a few tourneys outside of eu, it doesn't mean that fpx or gambit wouldn't have won the tourneys if it was hosted somewhere else, even then they had bigger problems than the ones you've listed due to visa issues which affected them even more(they also had to travel as well and they had jet lag had to adjust sleep, lived in unfamliar place and lost lots of time)

SEN, NV/OPTIC

naming least impressive runs in the entirety of valorant esports unfortunately

See the last two replies u r being saying "if" navi didn't choke to LOUD, "if" gambit or fpx played internationally. Yet you have no idea if they would have been affected by travel anyway. I mean Navi and Liquid both played well at times last year and would choke in international events not held in home unlike Americas teams who play well away from home.

And Lmao taking 1/2 of my examples away yet cry when ppl call Lock-In mickey mouse. I still have multiple other examples of teams making finals away from home and u don't bc there has only been 1 EU team in history that has proven they are capable of it. And the only rzn they are is bc they choked as a team for 2 years straight and everyone who has watched valorant knows that FNC always looked great in EU and would choke at events. So it took 2 years of failure and creating the most stacked team possible from ur region for them to find success.

Argue with a wall pal the tournament location bias from riot 100% benefits EU and they don't even take advantage of it like Americas teams do. Hold this L

You do realize that travelling from Russia to depths of EU whilst having visa issues is way worse than playing outside of your region and they have still won

And Lmao taking 1/2 of my examples away

Optic won literally only cause of entire team not being able to attend a tourney kkk. 4x times worse than tokyo and lock in sadly

LOL u r proving u r dumb, 2022 champs with FULL POWER FPX and FNC yet it's a OPTIC LOUD final?!?!?!?!?! EU didn't even get 3rd LOL. So even with all the full power teams from EU it's the same final matchup as Reykjavik?!?!?!?

Getting a visa from certain countries is harder yes. But once you get it then there is no excuse. Demon1 had visa issues for Tokyo yet they still make finals?!?!?!?!?

So not only does Americas perform better away sometimes they dominate so much they boot EU off the podium

From the viewers pov, eu is the best region to hold the tournament. Tokyo, NA had to watch it midnight and 2023 Champs us Asians had to watch it midnight so EU is the ideal location to hold the events.
