BBL were facing some additional troubles as well, with four of their five members playing from an isolated facility instead of the stage due to them testing positive for COVID. Despite that, Felipa , the sole player to take the stage, remained determined.

“I'm gonna be alone, I know. The audience belongs to the enemy team, I know… It's another challenge for me, and I'm gonna deal with it somehow,” said Felipa.

The series started off on Ascent, which was chosen by TL Brazil. The Brazilian squad got off to an explosive pistol win off of a 3K from bstrdd . While BBL bounced back with a couple of rounds of their own, TL were able to end the half at 7-5. After the side swap, BBL started to build some momentum and tied things up at 8-8. After that, however, TL came back into the game with a vengeance. They would find five in a row to take the map 13-8.

The MVP for the map was isaa on Killjoy, with an ACS of 287 and a kill differential of +10, the highest on the server. For BBL's side, only Vania was able to go positive in terms of KD.

“We haven't been able to show what we've got since we came here, but we have something special planned for you on Haven,” said Meseka , BBL's coach.

Map two was Haven, which, picked by BBL Queens, saw them start on defense. TL had opted for a double controller composition, similar to what LOUD pioneered through the year, albeit with a Viper/Omen instead of a Viper/Harbor. TL's Joojina found an opening clutch in the pistol, after which the map went back and forth, eventually culminating in a 7-5 half in TL's favor.

Joojina clean with the round one clutch.

BBL Queens won seven out of the next nine rounds to get to map point. Despite being down 12-9, TL were able to win the next three to push it to overtime, and were able to take the map 14-12.

When it's OT or bust, you know TL Brazil is pulling out the stops.

Once again, the MVP was the Killjoy from TL Brazil, although it was Bizerra filling the role. With three 3Ks and a 4K to her name, and 26 kills to boot, she topped the scoreboard. With a 2-0 win, TL Brazil had eliminated the Turkish Queens.

“On Haven, we had a tough time reading BBL, they kept changing their setups, but then Daiki told me to be more aggressive, I was aggressive, and we won,” said Bstrdd.

TL Brazil will face off against Team SMG GC Team SMG GC Inactive enerii Odella Abraham Alexy Alexy Francisco shirazi Kelly Jaudian Kamiyu Camille Enriquez to decide who will confirm a top-three finish. “They are really good, but they only focus on their game. I'm going to watch today's game, and get ready for tomorrow,” said Bstrdd.
