I feel bad

So, my neighbour recently lost their son due to a car accident and they wanted to throw away all of his stuff since they don't want to be reminded of him. One of that stuff is a computer. I told them I'll take it for 100$ thinking I'll take the case since it's that alienware area 51 7500 and I think 100$ is fair enough since I don't need the components inside. Little did I know it was that sleeper-built. So now I have a 4090 with a 64gb ram and a Intel i9 12900k. Which is way better than what I initially wanted to put inside. And I feel guilty knowing that I can pay more for this computer but I only paid 100$. Especially since I got it from someone that just lost their son

Life is unfair. Live it.

Shit happens but you can still be kind to your neighbors and help them out with stuff or you could give them some more money

I mean if you got money you could inform them that the insides were expensive and offer them to pay more over time, I feel like thats reasonable.

Update: I've talked to the parents and offered them 2000$ for the whole built, and they told me that I don't need to pay them since they just wanted to get rid of it. They also thanked me for telling them and invited me to eat dinner tonight. They even offered me to take his monitor if I wanted, but I refused since it felt like I was taking advantage of them if I did. They also told me I reminded them of their son since we both go to the same uni and like computers. I also booted the computer and learned that the son also plays Valorant, so RIP our Val bros.
