Do you think players like NBK or maybe JW can dominate in EU valorant? Given their success in CS they should belong to the best players in the world in valorant after some time

I think its too late for them, they've became old.
Maybe NBK can be good however, he's 27 but he doesnt seem as washed as JW

Come on bro, don't do them like that - JW is 26.

Yea but it'll take hell lot of time for them to get good cuz since the time if release of valorant its become so much more complicated with so many abilities....perhaps 5-6 months cuz they need to be good at all agents cuz u will be playing with/against the agents

you realized they switched because they're washed up in CS right?

they wouldn't be even top 200 players right now, what makes you think that's gonna suddenly change when they switch games

Its jus a stereotype by cs fans that "washed" CS players are automatically beasts in valorant...
Bet if any cs legend switched and is not very good he gonna blame it on the game "game doesn't make sense"
Like bruh this is a different game,if u expect it to be jus like cs y did u switch lmao

Eg:- @sunot
Like how can u expect a "washed"player to come in a game which is a year old and is so much more complicated...
I understand they would have been tier 1 if they switched like 6-7 months ago...but now its too late....
Washed player in cs = washed player in valorant (if he joins this late)(not the players who joined during beta cuz they learn the game gradually)
If washed cs players join now its way to late...to many things to learn...even if they take 5-6 months itll be hard

it's the opposite, it's often the valorant crowd who doesn't even know what's going on in CS hears "CS legends switch over" so they assume they're good xD

tbh thats exactly the group of people Valorant caters to, people who wants to be viewed as competitive players but are in reality casual players, so it's not surprising people actually think that

In all honesty I never watched CS proplay but I can look at all the trophies NBK won, even if it is some years ago. With that amount of success he has to be one of the best cs players of all time

he's not.

by that logic pronax who has 3 majors is better than s1mple

trophies and players from 2015 are not tropies from today

players/competition were much worse back then and people like NBK have also fallen off from their prime

I think the same tbh. In Europe itโ€™s already happening, young talents are taking over the top teams. For example in Acend, FNATIC there a lot of Young players who played fortnite before for example.
Nevertheless a tier 1 cs pro should be able to overcome an ex tier3 cs player with some practice time in valorant

I have high hopes for NBK, JW maybe he can main Jett as he is aggressive af with the awp. I don't know if he still has the same aggression tho.

It's so tempting to call JW washed and wouldn't do well then we look at ange1 who was the definition of washed and he is considered among the best player in EU lmao

I believe any washed EU player can compete in tier 1

If they team up with some zoomers they can do very well in Valorant.

i feel like they have a chance they already know the basics of playing pro and know how to perform under pressure i believe they got it but yeah it might take them couple of months to get the hang of the game.

Judging by other ex-cs pros like ScreaM, Ange1, Nukkye or many others, they have a very good chance to shine. They both have top LAN experience and have performed equally and exceptionally good in cs pro scene top tier events in past. I personally very excited to see such calibre of players migrating to Valorant.

I think most could do well, but JW was so bad in his last year of CS that I donโ€™t think heโ€™ll do well
