I am an emea fan but all emea has given me in the past 2 seasons is disappointment.

FUT has done well, to come from a "not top 10" emea team to top 8 globally. expect atleast a top 4 emea team performance next year too.
NAVI and FNATIC have stayed consistent. (navi did really well at champs but got unlucky)

but all the rest of emea has done is served me disappointment.

  1. KOI was supposed to be atleast NRG level, they shit the bed entire year.
  2. HERETICS created two weak rosters in two years. i had little hope for them for 2024, but that red bull tourney didnt sell me much
  3. TEAM LIQUID is the goat at when it comes to disappointing. 2023 disappointed me so much. peaked at the worst possible time. their rosters have always looked good on paper, but thats all. with how apeks choked ascension, i just cant help but think about how much of chokers can they turn out to be
  4. BBL have such a big fan base behind them, but they have been disappointing since forever. sometimes i wished bbl and fut were switched, so that the fut team can get the huge fan following they deserve
  5. GIANTS, name is giants, are actually like me, bang average. hope they can do better this year. i hope they can succesfully utilize the potential of the two of my top 10 emea players cloud and nukkye
  6. KARMINE CORP, honestly everyone sort of knew they were going to be the troll team last year. but this year, i honestly have so high hopes from them. the roster looks very good, and i somehow have a lot of faith in narrate. they have enghh obviously, so that makes them a bit more reliant, hopefully magnum can do good on this new igl role.
  7. TEAM VITALITY. honestly that roster doesnt look very good to me. sayf is obviously good, but again it is so reliant on how the two rookies perform. destrian aint the biggest fragger and with sayf now not on duelist, it will really be tough to see.
  8. GENTLE MATES. hopefully they can do what fut did in 2023 after winning the ascension last year. not changing the roster going from challengers to the league is a big move. but honestly dont think they can do better than a top 5 finish in emea at best

again i can be hopeful of all these emea teams, like how i have been since the past 2 seasons. but all emea has done with these good "on-paper" rosters is sell me dreams that were never fulfilled. i have given most of the hope, so if any surprises do happen, they'll be good to watch.

Yeah I agree with most of this. I think KC will be one of the best in this bunch.

Liquid look like absolute shit tho. It will just be nAts 1v9

Yeah I feel the same about liquid

Nonsense. They will be a solid stable team ranging from 3rd to 6th. Low potential to win things but a strong gatekeeper.

More like a a strong gatekeeper to hold #10 in the league

liquid is a premier organization. if at the start of the year they arent even good enough "on paper" for #2 (should be #1, but since they have fnatic), then yeah there is a problem

Im actually quite happy with the rosters for this year.

Last year it was clear KC, Heretics, BBL were gonna be bottom tier and vit & giants mid. Only KOI and Liquid were disappointing.

This year most teams have potential to be at least solid if not more. Vitality is gonna be strong especially towards the end of the year. Just wait and see. KC has crazy mechanical talent. Liquid very stable solid roster same as Giants. FUT looks like a top contender now. Navi has a better fit back, they will be a top team again. Gentlemates look quite good. Can qual for a Lan if things go well. Heretics have signed some great rookies and BBL improved with new IGL and Elite.

Only Koi worry me. But i pray to god that the huge talent of sheydos trexx and kamo produces something good.

Personally I am really excited for Vitality.
Great mix of current talent and upcoming talent, sayf is a huge pickup and seems to be a pivotal piece in the team.
The Vitality coaching staff is also very under-appreciated, big fan of Salah in particular.

Liquid I have high hopes for.
As an apeks enjoyer, mistic/enzo/keiko were great to watch play and watch how they blossomed into top players.
They should be a stable contender in emea pushing into a international contender.
My only concern is the coaching setup, this year is make or break for me, we need to see a well structured and organised team on both defense and attack.

I am not as high as some people are on KC.
Despite me being a big Tomaszy fan, there is so many moving pieces and questions to be asked about the roster.
The gap between the ceiling and floor of this roster is probably the largest we have seen in emea.

Overall, I am really happy with the majority of roster moves.
Most of the teams have made clear improvements, if that is talent wise or cohesion wise.

i stopped at koi, ur talking them being like nrg in 2023 becuz of ur usage of past tense so idk where the 2024 is.

i was talking about how the 2023 koi was expected to be somewhere equal to how nrg was this year.
(they were supposed to be top 3-4 emea team, atleast that was our expectations)

and koi for next year ie 2024 doesnt look the best on paper

i genuinely think emea will be a huge tossup with how some of the rosters performed last year compared to now
I personally am excited for mainly KC and VIT but who knows at this point

i am excited for KC and GIANTS honestly. giants is also one of the only team with the same core since franchising started. they are bound to have better synergy too this year
