Shaking when I play after work

Sometimes I’ll have a long day at work, and then come home at 5 PM and play Valorant. I’ll warm up in DM, but during the first ranked game my hands will be shaking, especially if I’m in a clutch situation.

My teammates will even notice that I’m shaking, and it definitely affects my aim for the worse.

Idk why this happens in my first game of the day. It must be jitters or something. Anyone got tips on how to stop the shaking?

This happens to me sometimes as well. First of all, I think my room gets a little too cold because our thermostat is kinda wonky and that affects it, but primarily it's just me overreacting in clutch situations as well.

The main factor causing this reaction is confidence imo. I have a mantra where I tell myself some affirming things but that might not be for you. I recommend just putting less mental stress on the game and remembering that you're playing to have fun. "It's just a game" might not seem to be the right mindset for Competitive or the likes but honestly you need to have some aspect of that (so you don't get jittery or panicky)

Giving yourself some rest after work might help.
Also get into the mentality on clutch that you WILL lose. that helps me shake less because there isn't the stress of needing to win the clutch

Well its not a bad thought but its kinda counterintuitive. What i do is, i expect nothing but i am confident that i will win it still. I just give it a go, clear corner one by one and play for the maximum value. Won many clutches with this thought, instead of just running away saving or scarily entering the battlefield without doing basic things like checking corners or peeking correctly because you have the mindset (its not worth doing allat because i will lose anyway)

I don't think i managed to explain myself well.

I agree with what you said. When I'm in a clutch I try to win it, and try to play confident but I don't give myself the stress of having to win the clutch.
I hope Im making sense

Yeah thats pretty much it. I relieve the stress and let flow state do its work

if you lower your dpi, your shakiness will affect your aim less, probably
