Opinion on yay and Bleed

For yay: this is the best move he couldve made, i mean imagine being a pro player at the top, then playing a singular match in franchising only to get dropped and go down to challengers. ONLY TO LOSE 9 MATCHES IN A ROW. the fact that he managed to get a roster in tier 1 again is CRAZY but the fact that he MOST likely got the bag for it as well is beyond crazy.

for bleed: i genuinely believe that no matter who they picked up in this roster instead of yay, they wouldve been able to get top 5 easily in pacific. The rest of the bleed roster is stacked and they got enough support behind em to reach the top without a doubt in my mind.

what im worried about is that youre adding an outlier to a team that wouldve already been good... take a look at any imports in valorant history it has NOT worked out well
Adris joins nrg.. that should explain my point on its own
cned joins fpx.. this one isnt an import but it still disrupted their synergy
sacy and pancada go to sentinels.... 2 champion level players reduced to ordinary players
Stuff like this doesnt work out because of chemistry, synergy, teamwork, team culture, team coms
import player is gonna be homesick, in a region theyve never been, in a culture they have no familiarity with, speaking with players that doesnt have english as their native language
when youre building a team, you should be taking into account, whether theyll get along (prior exp playing tg), play similar playstyles/has a similar mind when it comes to playing the game (certain regions have VASTLY different playstyles, and if youre someone like yay who likes to play in a certain way, i just hope the coach/igl also wants to play that way), ability to adapt/get familiar with the rest of the roster.

listen im sure theyll be fine and i come across as a hater but i hope stuff like this doesnt become the new normal

tldr: teams should priorities team chem over dropping the bag for star level players across the world

when it comes to yay, i think his drive to play was on such a level that he would've gone anywhere to play. so, i don't think homesickness will be too much of a problem.

as for team chemistry, yay has trialed with the team for quite some time, so BLEED has at least a general feel of the team chemistry. the team also has months before the season officially starts.

another point to add is that yay provides insight from one of the previously best teams in NA (Optic) and has a winner's mentality.

also to talk about your language barrier point: correct me if i'm wrong, but the previous BLEED roster with nephh and Juicy was also speaking English.

i do think your points do hold some value but overall i think yay is just the right fit for BLEED.

I have to agree, I think yay at this point is willing to do about anything to compete and can probably adapt

The outlier you added is the coldest motherfucker in the game though

Sacy and Pancada are still on SEN I wouldn't use them as examples for "imports not working"

just look at their regular season...(they got a good team now tho i wont disagree)
AND
everything i said about yay wont matter if hes on the team for another year because then hell just be part of the team.
If hes still on the team then it means him and the rest of the team managed to overcome the problems i mentioned.

what about it ? sacy did his job, but panacada didnt perform to him having to adjust to a new role and the team was just off because of dephh lol

Not really, also context is important for their situation and season compared to others. A lot of the things you mentioned can be fixed when a team has a dependable IGL(SEN def did not have that) and a true offseason or a core/foundation (SEN did not have any of those things). They had constant changes to their team/staff, there was no consistency to them. Also, the team has 4/5 same players so saying they have a good team now is funny. And the whole of EMEA kinda of debunks most of your stuff when they literally mix and match players from different places all the time. Fnatic doesn't have a single person from the same place literally mixing the UK, Sweden, Finland, Russia, and Turkey. Whole lot of culture and language in that team.

you know no matter what league you play in youre going to be home sick ? Brazilians and SA people had to move to LA, same for APAC and eu
