I'm not defending him, I just said that that the girl has some fault too because she really knew what she was doing, flirting, and in the end she just said that "It was a test" as an excuse.
Now, if she hadn't been flirting with him and he had asked that and if he has the only one to take initiative, then yes, I would consider it wrong.

Is that hard to understand? :l

nah, its both. you're just being biased over her. 16yo is not innocent and dumb at all bro, wtf.
you're acting like pancc manipulated and "forced" as I said he never did that at all, if you read their texts he never insisted on anything, he just asked it since both were flirting, when girl said no he just accepted and moved on.

In this one specific case, US law is morally correct

disgusting if Brazil allows that shit

#15

you consider US law more morally correct by your values.
but as I said, on my conception to be wrong what he did he had taken the initiative alone, and not both.

In Brazil It's also morally wrong, but It would be morally wrong if he taken the initiative solo. Since both were flirting and nobody cares at all ig.

I grew up in Mexico which has its own share of disgusting age of consent laws (as low as 12 in certain cases)

I know what it's like to live in a society that shares different values from what the US considers morally correct.

but...

I still find it repugnant. 16 year olds are not capable of consent with someone 7 years older than them and it's concerning to me if you think they can. This is not a cultural issue.

So, 16 can't do anything sexual?

As I said again bro, it would be WRONG if he taken action SOLO, but both were flirting. :l
If he took action solo, or insisted or asked why she rejected him, then I would consider it wrong.

16 dating 18 for you is legal right? but 16 to 22 is not cuz 16 cannot consent? it just makes no sense at all...

HE SHOULD NOT BE TALKING TO MINORS IN THE FIRST PLACE STOP APOLOGIZING GROOMING BEHAVIOR

Forgive the morbid example, but dude if a dog humps someones leg does that mean the dog is in the wrong if a sick mfer commits beastiality?

As intelligent as teenagers are, you cannot consider them emotionally mature enough to consent, and it's the rational adult thing to do to reject any advances from them if you are an adult (excluding romeo and juliet law type situations)

Even if she reciprocated the sexual advances you have to still consider it child exploitation on behalf of pancc

Holy pedo apologist

Any other first world country would acknowledge a 7 year age gap between a 23 year old and 16 year old is fucking weird and grooming, there’s a reason it was left in the past.

That makes it no better. People have rightfully got arrested and charged for less. A 21 year old self respecting man should never be engaging in any kind of romantic or sexual discussion with minors

you can consider whatever law you want morally, but sadly different countries different law basis, if i comitted a crime in germany i wouldn't be judged by the law of the US, it wouldnt make any sense.

It's not about laws, in this case it's about the moral basis behind them.

Even if Brazillian law doesn't consider him a pedophile, I'm not asking a Brazillian magistrate, I'm asking you.

Do you think pancc is not a pedophile?

Like, In Brazil people consider it if kids but not teenager 15+ at all. You're using this term based on what US law consider as it.
I just can't understand that how can someone 16 years old give consent to someone 18 and not give consensus to someone 22?

As I said, it would be considered wrong if pancc had taken initiative but he did not (cuz age gap) that's what most brazilians view at ped
If he had taken the initiative to want or insist on someone at that age, then yes.
But since both were flirting, I consider it more "acceptable" but still immoral.

Technically a 16 yr old still can't give consent to 18 yr old but a "relation" between them is far less weird than one between a 22 yr old and a 16 yr old. Also it's not about the law, it's just morally disgusting. In Saudi Arabia, gay ppl can be flogged or stoned or torture acc to law. That doesn't make it ok

First, do not bring me into this topic if he is a pedophile or not because i did not talk about that and it is a waste of time, i answered about a certain topic i will only talk about it, not the other way around.

I simply answered that you can consider the US law morally correct, but in the end it does not matter for shit at all, since if someone commits a crime in "x" country they will not be judged under "y" country law, they will be convicted by the law of the country where the crime was commited.

Thats why different people can argue if its morally correct or not, but legally it does not mean shit sadly.
