If they win ascension what org gets the slot, or do you think Riot would allow them to stay as two orgs in one slot. Worried we get to next year and have another Guard fk up situation where Riot says they have to split and both orgs want to be THE tier 1 team

Great question, no idea. Maybe shopify, they have a ton of money. Riot would most likely complain if a streamer was funding a team for 2 years straight and question the "financial stability" or something.

It's a merger.... two orgs are now one. One org, no issue

its not a merger each org is still separate they are just combined for valorant, so its still two separate entities

There's no "both orgs" here.

The joint company "Moist x Shopify" is its own Valorant org, its shareholders being Moist eSports and Shopify Rebellion.

When they win Ascension, it would be "Moist x Shopify" that ascend, and its management is who Riot will sign the contract with.
