Hey,

I am just curious and want someone that knows about this matter to clarify it for me. Apologies beforehand if somehow this offends anyone.

  1. Are transgender players allowed to play in tier 1 scene or not? Because I only see all of them in the GC scene. They went there by their own choice?

  2. IF they are not allowed to join tier 1 scene, then what would happen if a pro player from tier 1 scene becomes trans the next day, will this person be transferred to GC or stay at the tier 1 scene?

Everyone is allowed to play in tier 1, GC is to help the growth of the scene for marginalized genders

Yes they can play T1 if they qualify or if a franchise roster seems then good enough to be on their payroll.
If a T1 player becomes trans nothing happens.

The simple answer is that GC is a safer environment for trans players and that they purely aren’t cut out for T1 when only looking at Valorant

Anyone can be in T1 but getting into T1 is hard, even for most male players.
