Zellsis signing isn't what it seems

No top teams sign prominent players as 6th man because it risks making the starting roster players insecure and specially with a team like SEN, people will be asking to sub him in after one loss. That's just not a healthy environment. Although, I like zellsis a lot, after the 6th player rule change, this seems like an unnecessary signing that will do more harm than good.

Unless, they are cooking something in the background. This could go two ways.

1. The most obvious one on the chopping block is TenZ. This guy might fall sick at the wrong time once again so they will end up needing a 6th or if things go south, tenz will get blamed once again and they will swap him out( like last time, although mistakenly ).

2. The second option isn't on anyone's agenda but it's very interesting. Zellsis is a fantastic sentinel player and It's no surprise that johnqt or most IGL would prefer to play initiators bcz it helps them stay with the pack and makes it easier to call executes. Now, john has always been a senti main but imo his best performances were on breach, skye etc. If they start losing they will swap out sacy, put zellsis on senti and johnQT on initiators. Also, john has been playing a lot of initiators on stream and he's really fkin good at it.

Johnqt has always played sentinel on the igl role bro he wont switch on a whim. Dephh switched bc he was comfortable during chamber meta on the flex role. The whole flex thing is just a personal thing, most eu igls and a lot of other igls normally dont play initiator

Personally I feel like it's never a good idea to keep first team caliber players on the bench. Cz it makes the starting players paranoid. When you are playing for your job, subconsciously you start playing for stats and when that happens it's done, GG.

they signed zellsis to go full content creator he might sub in if tenz or some other player have some personal issues but idt any player on that starting roster is getting benched for performance this time around.

how do you know it makes them insecure? Maybe but I would not just assume the emotions of another human based on assumptions on a job that you have never experienced. Teams do not make decisions based on what the community says unless its like a Sinatra situation. This is a coach, player, and team decision. If a player has anxiety over there being a 6th that's on the coach/team imo.

Unless sentinels are absolute ass during the kick off tournament or the first split, I doubt they replace anything. Rob moore made it clear that tenz was coming back as a player too.

Tenz was rumoured to be flex this season right? And they sign a top flex player in the country to sit on the bench and do nothing… honestly I think because of kyedaes health this is a premature signing so that Zellsis can just slot in for tenz if something happens next szn

its a good pick up considering zellsis can play most roles
