New Breeze is Great

In my opinion, the new breeze is an incredible upgrade over the old version of the map. Previously, the main strategy was to group up as 5 and hit A or B site as 5 through main. This new redesign means mid-control is made far more important. Maps where mid-control is essential, but risky to take for both teams are very entertaining and allow for a much deeper depth of strategy. People who are mad at the change are the same people who loved breeze for being a turn brain off and out-aim enemy map in the past. The only objectionable thing about the change is the removal of halls, I think there are better ways to approach that change, such as breakable doors which the attackers must break in order to gain access.

TS got 0-13ed by Gambit on breeze after they won first map (it was 2021 champs if i recall correctly)

There are no ways to lurk or take map control without rushing imo. the only lurk and map areas that could be used to work a site have been removed such as halls and half of mid. all the other team has to do is put up a smoke and use utill and there are getting into sight is significantly more difficult. The changes to cave and shop just make it harder to push as the opponents can hold so many different angle or hold a smoke while all you can do is peak the one angle non stop. If you want to lurk or push mid on attack you can be shot from many angles like double doors and top mid while once again peaking a single angle or risk being shot from both. worst map in the game. (just an excuse to vent my hate about this map)

Not fan of new breeze, breeze suppose to be open wide long range map aim, but now feels confined with medium range aim similar to other map. Marshall/OP down cave/halls was this map standout point for me but now removed.

While I understand that the main "gimmick" of breeze has somewhat been removed in certain places, I think that the overall changes will make for a more strategically interesting map. There are certainly ways that riot could have approached the redesign to keep the feel of the map better, but I think that they are a net positive.

I just don't think that the breeze meta, which was 5 man rush through main after baiting a little utility, was interesting. There wasn't enough diversity of ideas. Breeze still has unique aspects, especially the long sight lines such as mid -> B, mid -> A, window -> B, etc, but now it has a far more diverse range of viable strategies.

I don't know why you keep repeating this, because it is not even close to the truth/reality. Old Breeze was mainly about mid control and attacking sites by splitting them (either B & elbow or A & mid/hall).

The changes actually make the new Breeze a less versatile tactical map.

i like the changes but i do miss halls.
if they made both of those wooden walls in it breakable with a loud sound
i think it would be better
maybe push the ct wall a bit back so to go into ct you need to break it too, but you dont need to break it if you are just going to come out on heaven

you cooked with this one. I think halls needed to stay there. Both the T sides and CT sides loved playing it. The other changes are good but this one was not needed & no one was unhappy with it.

Nah old breeze was better simple is not always the best I don't A main changes and hall changes and mid should a bit more open for long range fights if they had only changed mid it would have been good no need to change A main and halls

I love it ,but sometimes when playing ranked you lose the match the before it even starts cos of brain-dead players insta locking.In other map you can pull back this particular map is unwinnable without certain agents.Adding halls should be the focus on next rework
