You see all these teams failing to pay players and what not and despanding teams due to financial situations ( TSM, Guard, KOI, Multiple teams)

stop paying gamers 5-10k a month to lose and not even make tournaments 💀 shits an actual disgrace and esports is just going down hill bc gamers think they’re athletes

it's not really the players fault tho. It's the culture around them. Also the average t1 NA player would get a salary of like 200k each year + skin bundle + tournament winnings which equates to like 340k-440k

i’m p sure crypto fucked up the esport ecosystem, people were getting paid big bucks then the shit crashes and they’re all doomed

it should be you get paid little but big from tournaments , even making champions you make a couple hundred thousand which is insane bruh

yep. T1 should be lower in salaries especially since each player gets like 100-200k from skins each year.

they should get like 60k a year idk how living costs are in NA for example but 200k is ridiculous

60k is way to less for the amount of work these pros put it maybe around 100k + is more reasonable

average salary should be 10k each month but in NA its like 20-30k + skin bundles. So when you think about it if the players are getting 20k each month then you x8 you get 160k. SO then surely you let the orgs take all the money from the skins right?

it’s even teams outside of valorant too, Valorant didn’t make it any better tho can agree with that

Its because of League. When the League Teams came to CSGO salaries inflated like crazy and we are in the situation we are in now. Peak Fnatic in 15 probably didn't make 6 figures a year

It's streaming culture fault.
The more famous you are, more money you'll receive from salary because orgs can profit by using your image, that's why some players salaries are really high. It happen even at sports scene, stop crying.
Salary is not related to performance, never been.
Many players are influencers, when you bought them you're also buying his influence that he has over others

and once again whats the reason for paying someone 200-300k a year ?? NO ONE IN ESPORTS MAKES MONEY, you just end up closing your teams down and destroy competitive leagues/teams making nothing back,

“ salary is not related to performance “ are you dumb ?

Seems like you're the dumb one buddy lol.

Even in sports, salary is not related by performance, just see how much Neymar receive from some Arabs team, he is not worth that much, the received that much only because his name is known world wide, when you buy him you'll be buying every single reporter who always speaks well of him, and various other things, basically you're also paying for NPC army that person has.

Rich ppl always pays for MEDIA because this also gives them influence on other, that's also what happen in esports. See how many Tenz fans are in this site, that's why he receive at least 70k+ month even when he plays bad, if he plays good probably he receive some bonus or something.

You cannot understand how powerful is influence i guess.
Also u do not seem to understand how much Tenz "instagram" stories values at all... Or any other e-sports players who is famous on media too.
Esports is not charity, not for players, not for orgs.

I didn’t say influence wasn’t a factor did i ? it’s obviously apart of a players salary, but no influence is worth more then losing money, and once again you said performance didn’t have to do with a players salary 💀

You have to be good to get influence my brother, TenZ also dosent just get paid to be a brand he gets paid because he’s good at the game 💀

Yeah, performance is not the only thing that matter for salary man.
Just use your brain...............

When an org buys a famous player they earn so much media by it, why would a player like Tenz accept 5k month when they're basically giving his org way more profit by revenue, media, influence, followers and various other things.

And why would Tenz post things about his org when he is being paid only 5k month (as example)? When his insta stories values is like 20-50k+ per story
It would be basically charity from him.

ok all you talk about is tenz , let’s do another player, Pancada , who outside of the game where does he talk about sentinels ?? no where literally, he post him wearing the jersey, dosent mention sponsors or anything, he’s paid to PLAY and he’s making atleast 30k…. so what are you waffling about?

pAncada has no fame at all only his performance
Sacy is the one receiving more, not pAncada.
What I am saying is that fame is also related to salary + how much influence they have are added to salary

Salary = Fame + Performance. But fame is valuable even without a good performance.
Not hard to understand now right?

and yet i dont even think sentinals are protifiting by having tenz in their teams. I think the industry standard was set to high for players salaries which isnt sustainable for these orgs in the long term and i also think that the players are so use to receiving that kind of money that anything below it isnt worth it.

Nah, It's more about media salary itself.
Nowadays anyone with more than 500k followers can easily earn like 50-100k per month by just doing publish things
Tenz or any other famous player has so many influence on other that you have no idea how much it is worth, so many braindead tenz fans buys his mouse every single year, revenue, and a lot of things.

70k month is basically nothing from what SEN receive by using his influence.
Somehow I think ppl here do not understand how influence is a powerful thing also $$$

Tenz image definitely makes SEN earn more than 70k a month, certainly.

Yet it looks like its not enough money for sentinals to stay afloat as their looking to croudfund money to continue thier operation. Which isnt a good look at how they manage their company

SEN money is more like, what they earn during a month they need to use it on next month... from what I understand seems like they do not have money for next 3-5 months, but remember that they make money every month. Next 3-5 month that they work, they would earn more 3-5 months as backup too.

It`s more like they do not have more than 3-5 month as backup.

I don't remember where (maybe sgares and slasher), but someone said there are a lot of players in NA getting 30k and even players getting more than 50k per month

there’s literally people with 0 influence/brand behind there name getting 20-40k a month which is ridiculous, but you got dipshit here saying “ they all have influence “ and not related to how good they are at the game lmao

Koi is broke cuz LEC pay is like x4 EMEA valorant pay imo, average EMEA player makes like 8k a month, in LEC it’s more like 30-40k

Every sport, especially esports makes mistake of trying to buy legitimacy... they think if they arent as big and shiny and full of money as the nba or england soccer league they will not be taken seriously and die. In reality they make themselves look like clowns when they cause there whole industry to explode after they artificially pump it full of money it cant sustain... if the esports industry is at a size were the average player should be making 40-60k a year than so be it, that is very unfortunate, but athletes in plenty of sports dont make more, riot is risking the safety of the esport by expecting everyone to make 6 figure salary and for everything to be big and shiny, let the scene grow, if it is good game it will grow on its own and salaries and money will grow with it
