So looking at the dates for Berlin and Champions they're gonna end up being around 2 months apart. Do you guys think they're gonna have tournaments (like the NSG ones) so the teams that are playing wont fall out of shape like we saw happening with Challengers 1 in NA

They have the LCQ. Last chance qualifier.

Thats for the teams that didn't qualify though. i mean for sentinels and teams like them will they be allowed to play in some tournaments

Why would they play tho?

just practice for them at that point. I understand scrims and stuff like that exist but most teams during this qualifier (in NA) lost some maps to teams they really shouldnt have lost any maps on ex. SEN vs SQ and NRG just straight up losing against VRT and i feel playing matches are better practice than scrims after that

I think scrims are prob better. Because you don't reveal strats. So yea. Also you wouldn't want your gameplay right before when you're theorycrafting and shit. To be known and be vod reviewed by other teams. Even if you aren't trying. It's bad because that means you can't test that shit. You probably want to test your strats against teams in your region and hopefully they don't tell other teams bc that's a dick move. Only 3 teams in total qualify for Champions from NA so I think it actually wouldn't be that bad and there would still be a variety of fantastic teams.

they definitely won’t be allowed to play a team that qual’d for champions would ruin the competitive integrity of a tourney like that

They (Riot) had a rule where teams who are big and stuff can't play in small tourneys. I think SEN would defo fall under that category

oh i thought that was a rule made by NSG for their tourneys. Good to know anyway

It's a Riot one. That's why it also applies to PAX and other smaller tourneys

There could be a big regional or international tournament in between Berlin/LCQ/Champions but I'm guessing it won't happen.
Sad, no valorant for an entire month

Kinda wish we had ESL One Cologne or IEM Katowice-like LAN tournaments in between the really big tournaments like Masters and Champions. Feel like the wait is too long.

trust me, too much of something is not a great thing. Like navi and gambit final everyone is sick of it lol. Takes the hype surrounding it.

There can be a happy middle ground.

With wait a little more time, you'll get more excitement when the times come.
With no time to wait, you'll soon getting bored.

Doesn't really matter for this since all of them will be offline for the same period ( each being equally "rusty"). Otherwise, most of them will be scrimming privately until then.
