Maybe, I think best team ever b4 them was either Optic or Loud with sacy/pancada. Considering how much they struggled against current loud to the end of this season, I don't know if I could honestly say they would beat either of those teams.

I think it's tied between 2022 Optic (1st, 3rd, 2nd) and 2023 Fnatic (1st, 1st, 4th).
2022 Loud (2nd, groups, 1st) is second.
2021 Gambit (-, 1st, 2nd) is third.

In Tokyo PRX wasn’t there with something and EG and LOUD weren’t in their best form

In LOCK in the current iterations of PRX and EG didn’t even exist and LOUD had the biggest choke of all time

In champs LOUD EG and PRX all showed up full strength and FNC lost

lockin top4 teams (drx loud fnc) all made champs playoffs and won a game or two. LOCKIN top teams arent irrelevant.
While yes, loud eg prx played better in champs, fnc also played worse than they did in tokyo and lockin. Want proof of this? Chronicle and Derke at Tokyo each had ~1.20 rating. At Champs, Chronicle has .98 while Derke is averaging 1.06 over the entire event. Tokyo FNC would likely have played better (or even won) against LOUD, EG and PRX. Even Alfajer and Leo did not play up to their respective MVP performances. Everyone else got better, while FNC's players stagnated in performance.

LOUD is historically the best team of all time. Consistently a top tier team for 2 straight years, even through significant meta shifts and roster changes

NV/OPTIC is second for their come up in 2021 and DOMINANT showing in 2022

Fnatic is 3rd. Always first or second in EMEA, some decent placings in 2022, won a showcase and a masters in 2023, and a top 4 finish at Champions

People forgetting Loud bombed out of groups at masters and Optic not winning a single series against an EMEA team till the last tournament they ever played.

How can you call optic the best team when they struggled so hard against a region

The only team close is Optic, but they never one two international tournaments. The level of dominance that FNC held over 99% of the season was incredible, the only teams they lost to were TL (fluke win) and Loud, a top 3 team

optic/loud/gambit were all teams that were winning series but winning them no where nearly as dominantly as fnatic. The round differentials for fnatic was the best this game has ever seen
