bro mini (along with his son b0tster) is the thing that keeps Fnatic from ever being world class. Keep that fraud out of any "valid coach" lists PLEASE

Mini is without a doubt the pep of valorant. He's incredible commands respect, He DEMANDS perfection from his team and most importantly he's a genius.

I would agree that he's the best at picking out the few gems from the talentless pool of frauds in EMEA

but his team has a primitive stratbook, his IGL can't midround, and they think the "right" way to play the game is just recycle counterstrike fundamentals.

That's why he spent 2 years wasting Fnatic money to achieve nothing, and the worst part is that it gets justified because alfab0t fluked him 2 events.

Take this roster on any other org, drop boaster for any T2 NA IGL, and they place top 2 in every event until the players get too old to react in time.

this, is quite possibly. The most uneducated, awful and disgusting take I've ever read.
Let's begin:

  1. the "right" way to play the game IS to recycle cs strats. wanna know why? BECAUSE THEY'RE THE SAME GAME! CS and VAL play almost the exact same if you ignore one small thing. Utility. Utility is what makes val harder and it's what makes val not a ctrl+c ctrl+v of the game. However if you just use the same fundamentals then it becomes the same ideas in your strats. The fundamentals are the same.

  2. Boaster is by far not the best IGL in the world, thats not a debate. But he is one of, if not THE BEST igl for this team. Every teams has an IGL thats perfect for it and for fnatic its boaster.

  3. Mini is not being carried by individual performances and certainly not by alfajer. If you think masters are won by individual performances then you're an idiot. FNC money is a bottomless pit so thats not an issue either and Mini isn't even a waste of that because he's the most successful coach in the history of this sport.

  4. last one is probably just a joke so I'll ignore it

Termi screwed up DRX's whole year by severely mismanaging the whole Foxy9 situation.

Barbarr had world champion starxo, masters berlin winner sheydos (who many people called the best player on gambit), and one of the biggest talents in all of EMEA in trexx on his team this year, and only managed to beat navi and heretics all year. On Guild he had Leo, trexx and Sayf and also only made one international tournament (losing to old navi and OGLU in LCQ...)

Not even gonna address Neilzinho lmao

Onur had a good run with KRÜ in 2021. It was a huge momentum- and keznit-based run though, not sure how much his coaching contributed to that. His stint with Leviatán was a huge disappointment though, and a lot of that came down to coaching/team structure. They had some of the best set plays and pistols in the world, but were way too rigid with them and didn't evolve. That's on the coach.

mCe and mini are probably the two best talent scouts in the world tbh. Those two and chet are definitely great coaches. But the rest has to be a joke.

honestly, stfu.

Termi DID do a shit job with Foxy9, thats not a debate. However he's turned a team of duelist ranked players into one of the most consistent teams in the world.

BARBARRR is an incredible coach not just because of his unmatched player development but also because of how much he cares about playing beautiful valorant which is a rare value to find in esports coaches.

Nelzhino was more of a joke.

Onur was consistently called the best coach in the world for more than a year.

mCe, mini and chet we agree on

I mean I'm really not trying to say Termir or Barbarr are bad coaches. I really enjoyed watching Guild play, and DRX obviously has a lot of cool stuff as well. Onur I'm still a bit sceptical about tbh. But Potter took a mid team, added one experienced player in Ethan, one completely unknown ranked demon (idk if she did the scouting or someone else did), and got them two top 3 performances at LANs.

In the history of Valorant, only three teams made two top 3's in a row (Gambit, Optic, Fnatic; I guess Loud as well if you count champs 2022 -> Lock//in). Surely that's a very impressive record? And they look extremely drilled, their ult economy is the best in the world alongside maybe Fnatic, their prep is extremely solid in every single game, they consistently win pistol rounds, and her timeouts are super effective as well. Those are all things that I think she deserves credit for as a coach. In this year, she has 100% outdone Termi and Barbarr.
