elige to valo when?

from elige's engagement with the valorant community and the game i think its obvious he enjoys valorant

meanwhile, the NA CS scene is completely dead and his team, Team Liquid, is trash now.

They just got 2-0ed by BIG, but they cant really even improve their lineup... Stewie/NAF/ElIGE wont get dropped. Grim is kinda bad too but the only person better is brehze, and i dont think he could take this team to the next level. They wont drop FalleN either because Stewie wasnt a good IGL

basically TL sucks rn and i dont see a way they can become elite... if you look at ELiGE's twitch, all of his streams from this past month have been Valorant, and they have been getting more views than his CS streams

if he were to switch to valo, he would insta be the highest paid player and every team (barring SEN), would offer him a spot, even 100T and Envy.

i think its inevitable that sometime in the next year, elige is a pro valorant player

Idk Elige might switch but Stewie is the igl in TL rn so I could see Fallen getting dropped for someone like Osee or Junior

fallen is the igl, stewie just stayed as an igl on the beginning because fallen was getting used to the team. He is now the second caller, Unless he got back to it but no news got out and i doubt it coming from the fact stewie hated being one.

You're overestimating his value... there's no guarantee he'll become good at valorant or even a top tier pro. Many teams already have established dynamics and team chemistry, especially the top 4 teams in NA. if any team were to sign him it wouldnt be a top 4 NA team. just because he was decent at csgo doesn't mean he'll be good at valorant eiither. skadoodle was good af at csgo yet isnt that good at valorant, ethan hiko steel nitr0 were all t1 cs pros and they're still really good at valorant, but they havent won anytthing major yet, but might eventually. (sadly, and im saying this as a huge 100T fan, but we're gonna win berlin either way so lets go).

skadoodle was good in 2018 but wasnt good by the time he switched to valo.. i dont think he was even competing. ELiGE has been a top 10 CS player for the past few years and is the best NA CS player of all time, he also isnt even washed he is still almost as good as he was.

doesnt matter, did he win any actual majors? no, even if he is still good at csgo again my point is that that doesnt prove he will be amazing at valorant. but again, it is possible. im just saying not to overvalue him so much.

I have to say I disagree. 100t immediately opened a spot for Ethan, but they wouldn't for Elige? That wouldn't make any sense, any top 5 team NA would be thrilled to welcome Elige.

#20

No, they wouldnt, because all of them are already well established valorant pros with insane team chemistry, top 3 NA team. they only opened the spot for Ethan because dicey was replaceable, and not nearly as good as ethan lol. Everyone on that roster is insane and brings huge value to the table. EliGE would not replace any of them, and theres no guarantee that he'd even be an insane tier 1 pro.

Ok well I respect your opinion but just no lol, that's quite incorrect

#22

It's not incorrect at all, its factually true. There is no factual proof that elige will be any good in the pro scene. If you deny this, you are delusional. You can say that its possible, or even likely, but you have no proof at all. And there is no reason for any of these teams to drop any of their players, especially 100T, as all of their players are insane at the game and EliGE wouldnt be better than them. They all have months of t1 experience and understanding at the pro level

So are you saying envy wouldn't fill their empty spot currently taken up by an on loan mtachfixer with Elige? Huh

marved has many months of t1 experience and has proven himself as a tier 1 pro. They also have insane team chemistry. He was also a csgo pro and has good game sense, and is not a replaceable asset like dicey, unless they swapped marved for another tier 1 pro. EliGE will likely only replace the fortnite/overwatch pros or just the tier 1 pros who dont have the same game sense from csgo that he possesses

bruh what reason was there for 100t to drop dicey? they just won first strike with him then why did they drop his for ethan? and EliGE wouldn't be better then them??? now i'm 100% sure u've never seen elige play lmfao.

#36

what? Because dicey had bad game sense and didnt have cs experience liike ethan. And he couldn't flex. Not nearly as good as ethan in almost every aspect.

bruh u must have never seen Elige play. do u even know who elige is? overestimating his value? he is BY FAR the best csgo player to ever touch csgo in NA. he has been top15 csgo player in the world for 4 years. 4th on 19 and 8th on 20. where ethan was 20 in 19 only once in his life. Hiko himself said they couldn't miss a chance to no sign a TOP20 cs player like ethan or let other teams get him. and u r saying we are overestimating Elige?? bruh watch him play before u even comment something about him. and the saying just cause he was good at cs doesn't mean he will be good at VAL. every top val player is a cs player and all the T1 cs player who joined val is washed up. the only one who wasn't is ethan and he's owning. any TOP 10cs player will become the top 5 best player in val by far.

None of what you said proves me wrong at all, rather your argument is still invalid. EliGE being good at CSGO does not at all factually prove he will be good at valorant. Being good at cs does not equal being good at valorant. Skadoodle was a major winner and yet isnt even top 15. And no, not every top val player is a cs player. Zombs, apex, babybay, overwatch, fnatic with fortnite players as well. You are delusional.

I think Skadoodle is actually a bit underrated

He is

  • reliable
  • flexible (agent pool)
  • team player
  • experienced

I think that him staying on T1 for such a long time has kinda pushed the fact how good Skadoodle is

But the success hasn't been shown, and I agree Ska's career in VALORANT has been pretty mediocre

bro nitro, hiko and steel won first strike. which was the FIRST major??

#13

technically you could call it that but the game was not nearly as competitive or skilled back then as it is now. plus first strike really wasnt that good, it was single elim and its not nearly as important as these masters tourneys

no one liked the single elim format for sure but it was still a tournament with a trophy and decent cash prize.

Ska is actually great at Valorant he was just forced to juggle roles all of the time and isn't even on the awp anymore which is what he's good at.

I'm 90% sure that PGL is going to be elige's last major in csgo. 10% depends on if liquid wins it then elige might continue but that is highly unlikely. And he has multiple close friends in current valo pro scene so it will be a matter of time before he gets picked up by a top 3 NA team. I'm leaning towards ENVY to be the one.

You guys got to realise the "trash" you are speaking about is top 10-15 in the world. To reach that level of top tier cs is something absurd, something 99% of pros in esports would only dream of. He might switch, he might not, but for the time being it is not a smart decision given the fact that not any org can offer what a talent like him deserves, plus i think the switch to valorant being from players that were all either at a bad moment or on tier 2 cs is common for a reason. Why leave a guarantee for that if you have the potential to make a comeback and solidify yourself in CS? Especially with lan events coming back eventually? In the future? yeah, more might come, but for now, cs pro scene is far from being dead for him, being NA last hope actually.

#19

im obviously saying trash relative to the t1 scene and where liquid wants to be. Top 15 is good in the general sense but all of these guys are aiming for top 1

#26

Yes. But what i mean about that is a lot of t1 val players never even reached that level. I see that change coming more after champs at the end of the year. But rn, especially for liquid, with adren coming back, i find it hard to think of changes from elige. They have more experience in LAN than any of the of top 10 hltv teams rn apart from astralis. If anything i see grim leaving because of the pressure, other than that i cant really imagine changes. At least until ending of the year.

Bruh? they didn't play championships for several days, and even so they played very well. while other teams like Furia, Big, etc. played tier 2 championships to have experience in iem cologne. in the next championships they will improve a lot

Dont blame him for wanting to switch CSGO is a stale dead game

#29

i love val and i think the future is very very bright. But saying csgo is dead is being delusional xD. Game been having the record number of players broken again after 10 years, and CS is not NA exclusive. The NA pro scene is dead, but cs is alive and well. Not the same as 2016-2018, more games came with time, but it is still the biggest scenario on fps esports by far.

I want him to switch because I'm a fan of him, and I think valo is the better game, but I also want him to stay because I don't want NA CS to be 100% dead :((
