I feel like EG dont stand a chance against Fnatic, if fnc gets knocked out by loud in lowers again, and EG beat prx this will be the flukest champions ever since EG got the most easy group and bracket and didn't even had to face the best team (fnc) tbh

Right. As a PRX fan, I'm a lil scared. I hope PRX wins, but no questions asked if EG wins, they deserve it too.

all prx members have really strong form rn, hopefully alecks has a suprise map pick/comp to give us the edge on the matchup

EG has insane form + really solid map pool so they are pretty good rn, but i still have faith in the boys

If fnatic loses again I don't see why they are the best team itw.. if they lose in the Grand finals, maybe. If they lose anywhere before, they are not the undisputed best team itw anymore

Ironic considering flukyo and FLUKE//IN doesn’t even count.
I speak for all of us EU fans when I say that our region has 0 real trophies this year

not so hot take - tokyo

NAVI in bad form
NRG in bad form
DRX in bad form / identity crisis
LOUD in bad form / identity crisis
PRX playing w sub instead of star player, forcing them to do completely different comps
EG practicing w reformed instead of demon1 for weeks cuz situation was unknown
ASE/FUT full waste of slot

THE EASIEST TOURNMENT THAT A TEAM EVER HAD, EVERY SINGLE CONTENDER HAD ISSUES.

Reykjavik 2 was way more of a fluke. All CIS players got locked out and so many teams couldn't play normally as a result.

I expect you to disagree as you're a fakeflagger tho.

This is so cap lmao

  1. Agree 100% on PRX. The lads were so damn good, I just wish Something got to play. I believe PRX vs FNC at Tokyo would've been an amazingly close game.
  2. Regarding NRG, DRX, LOUD, NAVI. If a team is in bad form, that means they're not that good/ consistent. That's not Fnatic's fault. How come FNATIC has been in form almost all year? That just means they're better. Not more lucky.
  3. Not sure about your EG point. Demon1 was one of their best players at Tokyo and all of em looked pretty comfy. They fought hard but choked when it mattered. I think they lost because of a lack of experience, not because they didn't prep enough. They could've and should've won Bind.

You can find issues every single LAN, because there will always be some teams struggling with form, or visa issues or got lucky, or whatever. That doesn't mean the winner doesn't deserve it.

demon1 had a visa issue that got solved a week before tokyo, they were pracing with reformed even back in AMERICAS playoffs. also demon1 was relatively quite on tokyo, hes coming back to his regular form now.

not fnatic fault for a team being in a bad form, but so many teams having a really big slump in the same tournment just makes it so much easier.

You don't seem to understand my point. Did Fnatic get a bit lucky? Yeah, sure. Did they win because of luck? Absolutely not. They are the only team to win back to back LANs, have some respect. You can't get lucky so much that you end up with 2 LANs in one year. Their loss to LOUD was literally the 2nd series they lost this year, out of like 20. That's a 90% hit rate, not luck.

you are arguing with the biggest baiter ever with a mental age of 3 of course he isnt going to see how true your statement is and only keep saying lucky

Honestly the upper half of the bracket was pretty stacked with PRX, FNC and Loud. EG had easy run till now, fither journey will be interesting to watch.

DRX and EDG is easy?

Compared to PRX and LOUD on top form. Yes. That's not even close.

OP isn’t entirely wrong tbh. matchups are a thing. I don’t see EG beating FNATIC, but I see them maybe beating LOUD since they know each other well and did countless scrims in Americas. and… I don’t see FNATIC beating LOUD in a rematch either. LOUD dropping to lower is something FNATIC feared the most, since LOUD seems to be the only team that can consistently beat them

#29

not discussing what is a fluke or not, but if FNATIC don’t go to grand finals and either PRX or EG win, we can discuss some luck involved, definitely

Hard agree with you on LOUD being the worst matchup for Fnatic. I think it's the fact that the whole team can pull shit out the bag whereas with most teams you only have to shut down 2 or 3 players. Fnatic focuses a lot on trading teams out nowadays and LOUD on good form is just harder to do that to.

How can fnc be the best team in your hypotetical world if they get 4th?

#38
yaboikaladin

if FNC is so much better than all the other teams, then why are they in lowers? like, I'm sorry but it's so ridiculous that people will say one team or another winning is a fluke bc they didn't face a team - if that team was so good, then they would have won and they would be in the upper bracket. like, I think FNC is an amazing team, and is the best valorant team that has existed so far in the history of the esport, but you can't discount EG's wins just bc FNC cracked in their first game of playoffs. the transitive property does not work there.

In reality both teams are great.

But I've also seen quite a few people call FNC frauds because they lost to Loud, it's vlr.gg, you can't expect anyone to be serious and post something intelligent once in a while.

Same shitt I said yesterday, and the day before. FNC will lose if they play LOUD again. I only see PRX/FNC lower final, and FNC/EG in final, then EG wins it 3-2.

You act as if tokyo isn't way more fraudulent, with only EG, fnc and EDG being the only teams in form out of 12. If EG wins champs it's fair and square.
