1 Champions - S+ (main international event of the season/major, in theory, reunites the best of the best teams of the season from each region, and that's why is above all the other tournaments)
.
2 Masters and Lock/in - S (s-tier international events, not as huge as champions tho, cuz masters has less teams and is a mid-season tourney, just like pro league in CSGO; lock/in was a invitational tournament, these characteristics devalue both masters and lock/in if u compare them to Champions)
.
.
.
3 VCT americas/emea/pacific - A-tier regional events, wich why is above the other 3

thoughts?

idk, even though it was an invitational, there were 30 teams competing, and the fact that there are no lower-brackets makes it more competitive, maybe as competitive as masters

it wasn't like masters, becaus teams were just testing they're teams and was like an initiation to the Franchise

I dont think single elim is more competitive especially as it was the first time a lot of the teams were playing with a completely new roster. Double elim is more competitive because it gives teams a second chance after perhaps having an "off game" and losing. Also that single elim format will never be seen again because it was a one time thing

LOCK//IN feels like masters but different format, experimental you might say
