It is rumored that both SEN and NRG have major interests in picking up Aspas.

Personally I don't care about where he goes, what this shows about the orgs is something much bigger.

SEN's interest in Aspas shows they are looking to potentially drop Tenz from their roster and potentially Zekken too(Adding Zekken because he pretty much only plays raze for SEN and Aspas can already do that so it doesn't make sense to have 2 duelist players on the same team), meanwhile at NRG it shows that they are looking to drop Ardiis for a better oper.

I predict SEN's roster will look something like this next year if they plan to drop Tenz and Zekken.

New IGL (Johnqt potentially)
Sacy
pANcada/Marved
New flex player (NiSMO potentially)
New Duelist player (Aspas potentially)

Zekken doesn't play initiator anymore, he just plays Raze and Jett. Check LCQ data.

yea he goes back to playing flex like he did before LCQ

During champs 2022 he played duelist 80% of the time, and when he was put on initiator he was pretty mid.

To be fair, lcq was a hard raze meta on most maps and without tenz being able to play raze. Zekken kind of had to. Then it's an easier rotation if you also have him off role onto jett. Odds are zekken is still pretty flexible

Maybe, but when you look at other flex players like Zellsis and Victor, they have a much wider agent pool than Zekken. Also I don't think Jett one tricks like Tenz are going to survive very long in VCT as he tends to struggle on every map he's not playing jett or is a bad map for jett.

urban dictionary:
Poverty franchise
It is when a sports franchise team performs poorly on a habitual basis. They rack up losing records, wasting young talent and draft picks. It is also a monetary matter.

  1. — Do you think the Detroit Pistons will make the Playoffs by next year?
  2. — Heck no! They’re a poverty franchise.

You said "poverty roster", not poverty franchise.

Also we just made it to the grand finals of Masters, NA isn't a poverty franchise. If you want to talk about what teams are poverty franchises go look at pacific.

Edit: Also if the Pistons hang onto Cunningham and take more draft picks they can become a good roster. NBA/NFL isn't a good reference for this, remember how shit the Detroit Lions were? Now they're sacing Aaron Rodgers 3 times in one game and everyone believes they are a playoff team.

SEN has money tho, they have the ability to create a roster they just suck ass everytime they do it cause they have to hold the dead weight being Tenz.

Also why you bringing up PRX?

regardless of what is holding sen back, they're a poverty franchise. one golden run in reykjavik '21 and never came close to another title

how do you keep forgetting things you write

If you want to talk about what teams are poverty franchises go look at pacific.

SEN's still doing shit tho, they're getting better from going 0-5 twice last year. They're just in a dry spot rn and they need to make changes to do anything. Unlike the pistons who are dead last every year.

What title has pacific won btw can you refresh my memory? They came 2nd in Copenhagen and that's it.

Honestly I wouldn't blame him, Zekken pretty much just plays duelist on the maps where Tenz can't. If they pick up Aspas they don't have to worry anymore about alternating the duelist role and team comps would become more consistent.

It is rumored that both GENG and T1 have major interests in picking up Aspas.

Personally I don't care about where he goes, what this shows about the orgs is something much bigger.

GENG's interest in Aspas shows they are looking to potentially drop Meteor from their roster and potentially Goddead too(Adding Goddead because he pretty much only plays raze for GENG and Aspas can already do that so it doesn't make sense to have 2 duelist players on the same team), meanwhile at NRG it shows that they are looking to drop Saya for a better oper.

I predict GENG's roster will look something like this next year if they plan to drop Tenz and Zekken.

I think it's a hard reach, Sentinels are likely going to keep the Zekken/TenZ/Marved Core. Even if TenZ doesn't renew his contract, which I don't think will happen because his relationship with the org is great, or Marved, Zekken is not going anywhere, unless he gets a better offer from another team. I believe the future of this Sentinels team is going to be built around Zekken.

If SEN get aspas it makes no sense to have 3 duelist players on the same team, one of them has to get dropped to have some success. I don't see a world where both Zekken and Tenz are playing on the same team and being successful, the role overlay complicates many things as well as Tenz not being able to play anything except for Jett and maybe Yoru (Yoru doesn't get played very much anyway).

its not crazy news like people think it is, his contract is ending so there is absolutely 0 chance a beast like him isnt gonna get offers from every team with deep enough pockets just to get their hat in the ring . this was gonna happen if the rumours are completely false or 100% true regardless. these news outlets are trying to milk the clout from people bc everyone thinks theres some beef between aspas and his teammates / org
