BR AND LATAM COME

I still believe that the Riot system is unfair. If we compare the advantages given to NA with those given to the BR and LATAM scenes, it becomes clear. NA teams have the opportunity to scrim with the best teams from both NA and BR/LATAM, while our best team outside the franchise system only gets to practice with teams of lower caliber. It's evident which region has the upper hand in securing a slot. In my opinion, having a separate franchise system for LATAM/BR would be a better approach, ensuring consistent representation from our region in international events.

haha franchise BR/LATAM is a joke of an idea, you have KRU(who is shit), LOUD, mibr, furia, the union. rest are pepe teams who won't be able to do something in T1 lan

you didn't understand i'm saying that br and latam should have their own franchise league (between them) and NA having their own franchise league.

How many spots would you give that franchise league for major tournments? And from who you take? Doesn't make sense

Edit: To clarify simply creating it wouldn't make sense you would have to make more changes for it to work and make sense

yeah sorry, wrote ascension and not franchise. that system won't work buddy. because if BR/LATAM get their own system, then sure japan/korea should also get theirs? and so on. This works cuz there are 3 leagues that rougly take 2 continents

Japan, Korea, Pacific and China can all play in the same Franchise because they are tipically next to one another compared to Brazil and USA.

Literally Americas should be divided in North or South, there is no fucking Sense in making them ALL in North.

Brazilians and Latam teams ain't able to train with them to get better. There is simply too much space to cover.

This actually sounds good though it would be little unrealistic in terms of the number of teams and the cost of operation. Although I would love to see Pacific league split into 2 like APAC north(Japan, Korea, China) and APAC South (SA, SEA and Australia), North and South American league, and maybe bigger Europe scene? But then there will be too many teams (Well over 40 if not 50 teams) and the cost of operation will be too much for Riot and prob not worth for them.

Let It be Just like It was before, Brazil has all the infraestructure to deal with this.

Just like Lock:In we can make It our own League.

CBLÃO in League of Legends was created by the Brazilian fans and It was insane, so much that Americans were starting to create ideas about fusing our own League with them( we won't let this happen).

I like splitting Americas but not Pacific, I don't there is good enough players and proper orgs to have the split. The Gap between PRX EDG and DRX and other teams is way to big.

BR and LATAM shouldn’t have their own franchise spots

They literally only have 1 good team its unfair to NA because their would be bad LATAM/BR teams making it to internationals over good NA teams

#13

Brazil had 1 spot before and latam 1 spot if we had sa franchise league we would have to have two spots for international events.

#14

Fair but it would not be as fun to watch because it would literally be a farmer’s league

You would have to promote some tier 2 teams and they would get destroyed

Who from LATAM is getting promoted? Fusion? 9z?

Meanwhile Brazil only has The Union

#15

I agree, but my point is that it's unfair that both BR and LATAM teams, which are not in a franchise, can't improve because they lack the funds for boot camps and their scrims lack quality. The fair thing would be for the franchise league to move to a different country each season, such as:

First Year: NA
Second Year: BR/SA
And so on
However, in my point of view, this is impossible due to the high risks involved, and it's unlikely that people who live in LA would want to relocate to São Paulo or Buenos Aires (Argentina). It doesn't make sense because the infrastructure is worse and the locations can be more dangerous for the players who are not used to live in countries that u have to be really carefull to avoid some risk situtions. ( Like not going out alone or at night).

If franchise next year takes place in São Paulo, then BR teams will have advantage for 1 whole season, no?
So I think it's easier to host franchise in more than 1 country rather than trying to create more franchises

Put it in middle ground
Hell
Put it in LATAM, that way the weakest region (at this point) can have the advantage while NA and BR figure shit out

English is 100% bullshit, and the only people that disagree are native English speakers, usually the ones who don't speak other languages

the actual language rank is:

Why is English the most common second language in the world if it is so bad then?

Look at the facts

English is the most “relevant” language in the world today

When two people of different native languages speak to each other, it is usually in English.

Look at FNATIC for example, a russian, a swede, a finnish person, and a turkish person all with their own native languages. But what is the one things that unites them and helps them communicate with one another?

English.

because british imperialism + united states imperialism????

Like... Being the most widespread language doesn't make it less bullshit????

I'm speaking on linguistic features, including morphology, phonetics, lexicon... So, it doesnt matter how many people speak it, it's still a fucking mid and you can't do shit about it.

Also, 0 props to english language on being the most widespread language. Do you even realize what British and US made to other countries so that all of them would have english as 1st or 2nd language???

Do you really think english is so widespread because it's a "cool" language? Like, really?????

Knowing a second language does, but knowing Chinese or Russian, or Japanese or any other language makes you specialized. More valuable. Also English is only relevant because England colonized half the globe and the USA spoon fed propaganda to the other half. We literally know English against our will

Knowing English is objectively more valuable

You have so many more oppurtunities and appeal to a much wider audience as compared to other languages.

Here is a simple example:

Why are only English talent flown out and brought to masters/champions?

Why not Brazilian talent?

The answer is simple: English is the current lingua franca of the world and many people regardless of nationality, can understand english.

Many people watch the English broadcast such as Asians, North Americans, South Americans, Europeans

The only people who watch the Brazilian broadcast are Brazilians and maybe Portuguese people.

Knowing English = significantly more opportunity

#46
Schizophrenic_Brazil_Fan

“Na talent gets flown out” by who? The mfs at T1 already spoke Asian languages.
Europe speaks in hundreds of different languages.
The Asians are literally importing RUSSIANS.

The USA used to be relevant, but its not anymore, your country is losing its imperialistic stranglehold. Your movies are already pissing themselves to get the Chinese audience.

Your 250 years of imperium is nearing its end, wake up.

By talent I mean the casters, analysts, production team

Also your point about Europeans speaking many languages and Asians importing Russians is valid, but do you want to know the constant in all of that?

Pretty much all of them know English

Also why are you bringing the United States into this, I didn’t even talk about them. Don’t bring irrelevant things into the conversation

I’m talking about English as a language

Also we’ve only been a relevant country for around 180 years

I disagree with that, If you are talking about opportunity in a higher scale, knowing mandarim (China) is much more valuable.

Simply there is much more business with China nowadays then the USA, yes we have to know english because in Ocidental world It's much valuable for trading.

But in the prospect of future, speaking "chinese" is much more propeling to your career.

I already know english, now i have to learn the other language of the future.

If the BR and LATAM teams could have at least 1 month of bootcamping for the ascencion tournament, it would help a ton (since the NA teams have the best teams to get trainings 24/7), LOUD was world Champions bootcamping for a month and polishing their gamestyle and tactics that made them to qualified to the touney
