Every time Union plays, sinatraa closet fans start saying "omg they banned the goat on the basis of an accusation!"... no. he was banned because he was not cooperating during the investigation and was caught lying. They unbanned him from comp play after further charges were not pressed.

people don’t realize that he’s unbanned now, the issue is that orgs wouldn’t touch him with a 30 foot pole. no org wants him representing them competitively bc of all the hate that comes w him

he’s okay being a streamer for sentinels since only people who care about him will watch his stream, but if he’s on a starting roster then every game their twitter comments and chats will be filled with sinatraa hate

also his fans keep saying the girl keeps threatening to press charges as soon as he wants to go pro, well if he is innocent and the girl is threatening he can always counter-press charges against her for ruining his rep, which would force her to either shutup or come up with evidence. None of his fans question why he doesnt do that and just assume the law will work against the "man"

tbf It would be pretty weird if riot partnered with the union but NO teams wanted anything to do with Sinatraa considering it's a roster of worse people

Neither should be touched in t1 tbh

why would it be weird to partner with the union? the org didnt do anything. maybe ban the players, but the org is fine

well it’s the teams who don’t want him

i’m unsure about riot’s stance on him, but he was allowed to do open quals for 2023 challengers

Remember that sinatraa was facing a criminal investigation as well as the Riot investigation and it would have been the single stupidest decision of his life to turn anything over to Riot for the sake of his competitive career at the risk of his freedom, whether he was guilty or not

i think it was less that he was not cooperating (which is perfectly fine and in fact the smart move from his perspective) but I think he was actively hindering the investigation Riot said and that is why he was suspended at the time

There was allegedly full uncut proof that he was guilty, that magically never wound up coming out

But no criminal case is ever pursued

Interesting 🤔

I said this and mods took down the thread. I’ma say it again cuz people seem to miss this detail

The non-cooperation: As soon as the allegations came out Sinatraa told riot he would send them the video associated with the audio that Cle0h posted in the Twitlonger. He later said that he had deleted the video and forgot (so technically he lied). It’s also possible that the video incriminates him, or at least muddies the waters even more so he CHOSE not to send it to riot.

Buuuuuuut Cle0h had the video the whole time, she never had to send it to Riot because Sinatraa got suspended anyways for not cooperating, and she never sent it to the police because the video (in my opinion and likely hers too) just doesn’t clearly depict SA.

Also for people saying no orgs wanted to touch Sinatraa lemme just remind y’all that he was a frontrunner to rejoin SEN before the LCQ fiasco, but the rumors re-stirred up hate and they cancelled the move.

Last thing I’ma say is that in my opinion, the video shows that both Sinatraa and Cle0h are naive if not anything else. She should have said no A LOT more forcefully as to not mis-convey any other feelings and Sinatraa should know to A. If it was some kinky shit they need better code words B. Don’t be a dogshit boyfriend so this shit never would have happened in the first place

ofcourse that was probably the advice he got from his legal team too. not mine or anyone's place to say whether or not he is guilty, i was just addressing the fact that many people assume he was banned on "baseless" allegations which is not entirely true
