I think only champions is a major trophy and we should stop calling every international tournament a major.

With the little amount of Internationals LANS in valorant, every LAN can be considered a Major but Champs is still the most important one

treat it this way

Masters = MSI
Champions = League Worlds

or using DOTA2
Masters = DPC Major
Champions = TI

CS's is different because there was never a TI for CS so it acts as CS has Two World Championships every year

I think it's in-between LOL and CS, Masters matter more than MSI and Champions matter less than Worlds but there is still a sizable difference between them.

Edit: Actually thinking about it I think your probably right since I remembered that there are 2 masters per year 🙃

Yeah, probably an in between or the DOTA2 nomenclatures could really be very close

Masters can impact the team distribution at Champions and determines teams that will be playing in it the rest is done by LCQ
The same DPC Major is determining teams going to TI the rest is done by LCQ as well

CS should have their own TI / Worlds to begin with. declaring the best in the world twice a year is so absurd

masters = champions basically. people argue “16 teams” but that’s only 16 in playoff round. technically both have the same amount of teams bc you have to qualify for them. lock in is just vastly different in every way: prize pool, limited teams, format, not random bracket, called a show lan
