With Ascension in July this year we are gonna see 3 new orgs for the 2024 circuit. Does this mean that KRU, DFM and the 10th place in EMEA this split are already eliminated from the franchising league? Cause there is only one split this year so they are fucked no?

nope the teams that are in franchising now will stay in franchising. The ascension league teams, will stay in the league for only 2 years. Unless Rito changes the rules like always lmao

Edit: So orgs like KRU and DFM can keep playing like silvers while farming franchising money, while an Ascension winning team could play great during their 2 years and potentially even win a champions just to get removed from tier1 competition after? What the actual fuck is that system

yep exactly, honestly it's better than most franchising system that games like overwatch and league use, but franchising still sucks ass

i dont think DFM,KRU will keep same time once the season ends, prob they will rebuild

yes I forgot completely how the format works but I know eventually more teams qualify. But what’s confusing is, by the time the teams play out their two years even if they do well they would get replaced? And wouldn’t have a chance to qualify again until who knows when. Horrible system for making it into the main league, hopefully it’s fixed if they want the game to have any longevity

after the 2 years in the league, they have to go through ascension again. Win that easy peasy and back to the league. But i assume rito will change the rules, when they notice those teams are actually better than the bottom performing teams. But we'll have to wait at least 2 years to see if that happens.
