For some reason when i have steelseries sonar off my fps is around 250 but when i have steelseries sonar on my fps drops by around 100. Is this normal and what do yall think the problem is?

That explains it. A lot of laptop boards have issues with audio ports and drivers, which cause problems with the CPU and hence the processing power, and hence the FPS.

Also, check if moments capture or stuff like that is on.
