Lads respectfully can we stop talking about her.
She's a good example of a coach to talk about because she shows opportunity as a woman in gaming. But...
why are we talking about her coaching skills. She is extremely mid. She is not one of the worst coaches and has strengths + weaknesses like antistratting being one of her strong suits. She is also not one of the best coaches, not someone to marvel over for crazy guidance of her players.
Should she be replaced immediately? Many more coaches are much worse than her. Would it be a terrible decision to replace her? If you can find a truly top tier coach it would definitely be worth.
The biggest problem with EG is somehow roster problems, splitting the salaries too much to get a star and not playing BCJ for whatever reason (internal problems or just bad decisions)

Edit: I dont think people understood this properly so I probably did a bad job at explaining. Potter is a good coach, and deserves her spot in T1 valorant. However there is too much conversation about how good she is compared to other just because she is a woman. She is better than most T1 coaches, especially with antistratting but she isnt an example of the best coaching possible. People who say that she is a terrible coach are not always sexist, but some are. People that say she is top3 in the world are not always sexist, but some are. She has great potential, and if achieved she definitely should be in these forums but she is being brought up wayyyyy too much

She anti-stratted slammed a top two team intw off one of their best maps (and EG could've closed that series 2-0 ngl)
also she just stratted the team to beat fucking Leviatán

Her mental fortitude is strong asf and very obviously passes that to her team,

I think that she definitely lacks in some fields, sometimes her ability to help her team adapt during a match isnt there which was visible on Loud pearl,
but there have been glimpses of providing really good ingame adaptability

I think bringing on an experienced Assistant Coach would be great (ENGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH GRAHHHHHH)

shes a good coach and has shown potential to be great

it wouldn't be a good decision to replace her imo

Yeah thats true, and most of what I was saying. Unless there is a top top tier coach (top5 worldwide), it would be a poor decision to replace.
The money would be better invested in the team and she shows good promise. At the moment she is pretty middle of the pack T1 coach, with great antistratting but potential is there

Realistically EG wont be the ones to pick him up. Orgs with higher budgets and better players but cheeks coaches are more likely.

(Not disrespectfully) English might not be your first language so you may have misunderstood. I think that Potter shouldnt be slammed for being a bad coach because she is a pretty good one. However she is not top5 in the world at the moment and isnt a coach that everyone should overhype for their strategy and coaching. I think that she is a good representation for women in gaming because it shows a more inclusive side and she isnt there just for diversity points but her talent. She is there because of her own ability, not because shes a girl and she deserves to be there. She just isnt one of the best in the world. It seems unfair to talk about her specifically so much because she lines up with the status quo for coaches and the only reason she is being singled out so much, for good or bad, is because she is a girl.

Jawgemo has been underperforming to be fair to her and bcj situation is a mess. Boostio is ok and ethan has looked poor on some maps. C0m might be the weak link in the team but i didnt keep up with him before so it might be underperformance for his level

that's the thing, she isn't necessarily the best, but it's clear a lot of guys just can't stand the fact she's been doing a good job and getting some attention. it's great for the scene, she's literally the representation valorant is lacking. a lot of others players are overhyped and no one gives a shit, but it takes a woman doing a good job and on the spotlight for a bunch of guys to start getting annoyed by it, stupid shit

100%, shes a good example of diversity from just her ability allowing her to be a coach. She shows that women can be coaches if theyre good enough rather than; 1) women should be coaches for representation, regardless of performance. 2) women cant be coaches because women are bad at videogames and stinky.
