Problems with NRG

Realistically what are the main issues with NRG? Does it have to do with role issues, or one person not performing to their expectations? How do you believe they could fix it, whether it be switching comps, or changing roles? Do you even believe there to be a problem at all, and they are just having a rocky start in Americas and will eventually gather themselves and show to be the excellent team that many suspected them to be?

they tend to do below average (by their standards) during the start of the tournaments and group stages, I believe they should be fine with qualifying to playoffs, but it's going to be tough for tokyo qualification. If they qualify, they would be one of the favorites for sure

-map pool is very weak at the moment (have lost on lotus, pearl, icebox, and split)
-figuring out roles in the middle of a tournament split
-average aim is weaker compared to a lot of latam+br teams
-gets thriftied during important rounds that can significantly change the outcome of the map

Imo Ardiis looks uncomfortable especially w/o a real role and is underperforming. If they could change anything imo it would be ardiis for a controller (Victor to duelist, s0m back to flex) or another duelist

Imho if they were given more time to trial it could've worked out but unfortunately this is in the middle of a split so idt they can do much

but even w/ a duelist like raze he seems bad

Why is Ardiis on this team? If hes going to play KJ and sage why tf dont they pick up a real sentinel main from NA? For fucks sake they even had Thwifo as a 6th man.

almost surely when they signed him they had some idea that chamber was no longer going to be hard meta. they had to have had an inkling of an idea that ardiis would have to play other roles.
the team just has not at all sorted what roles each player is going to play other than s0m, and that is clearly hurting them

i mean yeah but the role issues w ardiis started when he couldnt peform well with duelist on some maps at that time he could flex but he was their main duelist and obviously from previous results he couldnt peform well so i think its just on ardiis

no problems at all, the skill gap are very close, if you underestimate a team you will lose, In my opinion, NA teams tought they were superior, which it is not true.
I think NA teams will get better soon, let's see.
