You’re looking back at old rosters with insane talent and potential to be absolutely top tier and is sad that it all fell apart before it could reach that peak because of circumstances out of the rosters control

Maybe this is a hot take, but Gambit would've followed a similar trajectory of m3c in 2022 imo. It probably wouldn't have been as severe, but the idea that that team would've won over teams like Optic (in a chamber meta), FPX, or 2022 DRX isn't believable imo.

Edit: forgot, but loud as well

Maybe they wouldn’t have been as good but I’m fairly certain they would’ve made Atleast one lan

The backing of an actual org especially at t1 valorant is very important
The difference between 5 cracked players just playing together and
5 cracked players backed by million dollar orgs is big

And the idea they wouldn’t be able to compete is debatable of course but I’ll bring up what Chet said after he won Iceland

He was asked if they were the best team in the world, Chet responds by saying essentially “gambit is still slamming us in scrims, they seem like the best” (not exact quote at all)

That's fair, but I think the biggest issue with m3c in 2022 was the meta. They didn't really have a good op that could consistently perform when Chamber literally dominated the meta. d3ffo's online performance has never been great, and he's lukewarm at lan. IIRC, they had Nats and Chronicle playing chamber at different points, which meant either having Nats using an op or Chronicle not using a rifle, two not-desirable outcomes. But with how close they got to qualifying for most lans, I'd agree with you that they probably would've made one of them.

The thing I love about valorant is that there are actually so many top players around all leagues like marved, yay, sscary and zunba etc. That are actually on the level if not way better than the average player in their respective leagues. They are players that would be amazing and would be upgrades to teams role wise like vanity, fearoth to kc like please and many more players. Then there are so many upcoming players and stabalizing players that the level of the game should grow higher. If all the best players that are in t2 joined the league it was be so competitive and high-level. Just interesting to see how the scene and players develop.
