What are the odds makers seeing that I'm not?

They are seeing a very stategic team with very potent individual players that have insane aim including 2 veterans; solo & peri for LAN experience.. going up against a Sharks who didn't impress anyone really.. just GL & FURIA who choked

Yeah I'm not doubting they should be favorites but at -190 seems like the bookmakers are going a little crazy IMO. We really have no idea how well Brazil stacks up against Korea skillwise. I could see this going 3 maps all day.

Sharks just ended up in this championship due to FURIA/GAMELANDERS choke, otherwise they wouldn't be there. NUTURN is definetly favored over Sharks, i think that an upset could be real but its really really difficult to happen tbh

I think Sharks can surprise us all. Being the underdog always has it's benefits. I'm cheering for them.

Yeah but imo I can't see DWG, GoNGOPrince, stacking up well against GL or Furia at all. Other than Vision Strikers I think Nuturn are far ahead of all their competition. In my opinion, Brazil has more competition in their region than Korea. Even after all these years, solo is still on top? No rising young talent. Worrisome for their region TBH.

Especially when their only real star player from csgo went to c9 in Valorant.

what the fuck sharks have to do to prove themselves? GL didnt beat them once, and they got to masters by winning against everyone but vikings, isnt it enough to prove that they are good?

It was a good BO5. Expect for the haven, the others maps were close, and they beat vks in ascent ...

Please, GL and Furia didn't choke Sharks was just better.

How many time does Sharks have to beat GL for people to understand that? They've done it like 3 times already.

I honestly can't see either, did watch the korean finals and they were missing ridiculous shots that in Brazil you would never see, pistols rounds aiming at the chest... Sharks is not the best team but against Nut I think this will be easy, I don't usually bet but right now I really want to, it's free money

I don't think it is that easy, Nuturn have a lot of experience and good strategies. I think Sharks win, but it's gonna be a close match ...

Sharks have better aim and Nuturn have better strategies.

But i think the gap between aim is bigger than the gap between strategies . So i think 2 - 1 for Sharks ...

tbh everyone can have their personal theories and etc but this the first International tournament ever in valorant and we wont know how teams play each other till then. NA can get stomped NA can stomp EU can get stomped and can stomp we simply don't know and I would not be surprised that a game like valorant would not have any "dominant regions" but rather dominant teams. Even teams from the same region play a little differently from each other so I'm expecting a nice Rock-Papers-Scissors-esque competition

Cause stats andys saw that nuturn beat a 100 win streak team. IMO betters don’t look at gameplay enough

Nuturn is better overall, brazilians claim Sharks have better aim, well, only prozin and gabx are really good aimers, in Nuturn they have allow, Suggest and Lakia, solo is way more solid and experienced igl than fra, controller I think Light is better than peri, If they dont choke its clearly 2x0 Nuturn

Sharks beated GL and Furia (2 of the better aim teams in the world) and u say that Sharks have only gaabx/prozin good at aim OMEGALUL

You are too much biased for brazilian teams, even Sacy said If KRU were from BR they would be top2, brazilian scene was weak thats why Sharks got 2

Who said GL and Furia have the best aims in the world? Another brazilian plat player?

well, I wonder why you are not playing this masters for NUTURN? As we all can see, you are not impressed with mwzera, xand, qck, khalil and jonn aim what makes me believe, WE HAVE SOME KIND OF KOREAN COLDZERA 2016/2017. Seriously, you could become the GOAT in Valorant.

they're good aimers in Brazil, how could you know they're the best in the world ? have they won something already ? you think that EU, NA and other regions dont have good aimers too? Turkey have good aimers like cNed, russ, etc and they did nothing against Liquid and Fnatic, anyway, are device, s1mple and zywoo brazilian ? Brazil didnt won anything in CSGO since 2016, so STFU and wait until Masters

Yeah, the gap between VKS and Sharks is so big. I think VKS can be top 4 or top 3 team but Sharks imo is maybe 8th or 7th

They're favored, although maybe not as much as some odds make it look like. Sharks have some big flaws.
They have a perma veto and with that they can't target their veto on opponent's map pool. Also, besides having a perma veto, they have 2/4 good maps and the other 2 are very average (and when playing against teams on the same level/better, being average on a map should mean that you're likely to lose). Also, they still play the old brazilian meta with more fast paced and explosive entry rellying too much on duelists. And I don't think they had enough time to re-adapt to the current meta with the broken agents in Viper and Astra.
In Brazil, they didn't get punished so much cuz most of their opponents also still played that old brazilian meta. VKS was one of the exceptions and were able to punish Sharks.

I honestly think Nuturn is the favorite but I'll pray for sharks. In my opinion sharks depends of 1 player destroying... if this player (anyone of them) play well tomorrow I can see Sharks winning.
