I think it should be more league, 30 teams are not enough for players. Here is my opinion

  1. EU
  2. NA
    3.East EU (rus,tur)
  3. SEA
  4. SA
  5. East Asia (KR JP CN)

Mexico is NA. But I agree Mexico should be with SA. should be Latam and NA minus Mexico

I honestly think its fine right now.
The sub regions of the Americas had struggled in the past to produce more than 1 great team at a time.
Pacific is kinda awkward because most of the teams are domestic.
If you split pacific + china into SEA and east asia it will be way too stacked in the east asian side.

That's why instead of calling South America it should be latin America

It will be 56 eventually just by adding China, that's more than enough

Yes, basically this is how it works:

2023: 1 team ascends (11 team league)
2024: 1 team ascends (12 team league)
2025: 2 team ascend, 2023 team is relegated (13 team league)
2026: 2 team ascend, 2024 team is relegated (14 team league)
2027 and on: 2 teams ascend and the 2 teams that ascended 2 years ago (2025) are relegated (14 team league forever)

the league is fine as it is rn we just need quicker timeline for ascension and relegation . team promoted has to play for 1 year t2 but are given 2 yar for franchise . i think it should be 2 teams promoted every split but only for one split/only one year at max

Thanks for making this. So does that mean the current 10 teams stay forever?

Nope, that's the other twist. Orgs do not own the spots so Riot has reserved for themselves the possibility to swap the partnered teams every 4 years (2026) as they wish. So basically if Riot decides a partnered org is not doing things as they were meant to, they can put another org on their place (If one of the ascended orgs does a really good job on those 2 years they will be the strongest candidates most likely)

This avoids situations like the Astralis one in LOL who just purposely tank year after year placing last just to keep Riot money and sell the spot for a lot of money

So can the 2023-2025 team stay after 2 years if they perform better than most franchised teams?

Well they would have to go back to VCL after the 2 years until 2026/2027 (Not completely sure at the moment). Riot can only give or take away the franchise spots every 4 years. Basically in 2026/2027 Riot will decide which ones if any of the 2023, 2024, 2025… etc ascension teams have performed or brought something more interesting to the league than the partnered teams

If you ascend this 2023, in 2025 you must go back to VCL until 2026/2027 if Riot decides to promote you then

Idk if it’s clear enough, kinda hard xD

it's fine as it is, the leagues are built for the long term, and through ascension there will be eventually 16 orgs per league (if I recall correctly, def more than 10 though)
