How will the Masters classification work?
For instance, if a team finishes first in the regular season but loses their firsts playoffs games, will they still qualify for the Masters? On the other hand, if a team finishes sixth in the regular season but wins the playoffs, will they qualify for Tokyo?

Top 3 in each region’s playoffs qualify for Tokyo. In EMEA it’s Top 4, though.

I guess the only thing that matters is how you perform in playoffs (was like that before too)

Regular season is nothing (just qualify for playoff)
yes a team finishes sixth in the regular season and wins the playoffs, they will qualify for tokyo

**Playoffs: 6 teams in a Double-Elimination bracket
All matches (excl. Upper, Losers' Final and Grand Final) are Bo3
Upper, Losers' Final and Grand Final are Bo5
***Top 4 will advance to Masters
An extra Masters slot has been awarded to EMEA with Fnatic's victory at LOCK//IN São Paulo
