I don't think you understand football. There's so many uber athletic players that are just downright terrible players. Technique, football IQ, shooting and passing are king in football. It's just a straight up skill sport that requires a special special talent to be one of the best

you need a culture surrounding the game to develop it, there isnt much culture around Football in NA like in EU and Brazil. Also alot of European club footballers are all imports from other countries - especially of African descent who have great athletic ability + they get the necessary training in EU. Given the fact that USA has enough money to import the talent + provide the facilities to train and pay them -- all that is needed is a culture to be developed. US will own yall if and when that happens
