VCT PACIFIC LEAGUE MANAGEMENT IS TRASH

Is it just me or does anyone else also feels the same way?

  • I mean their social media presence as well as engagement is the worst among the three leagues
  • They had a lackluster approach on promoting the Pacific team's matches at LOCK//IN
  • Moreover they haven't even released the schedule for the League matches even though the Pacific League commences the earliest among all three leagues.(March 26th)

Probably just you and a few others.

Compared to Americas and EMEA, Pacific has a different social media target audience. Half of the Pacific's audience isn't even using Twitter consistently, prefering Facebook and Instagram and other alternative social media. The Pacific accounts are also very new compared to the Americas and EMEA accounts, and clearly trying to learn and adjust their approach towards their audience.

Schedule should be coming soon, according to Jake Sin, Riot Pacific's Esports Lead.

bro thinks these apac orgs care about twitter impression

way harder to monetize when theres like 3x less viewership in the region

also a org called "global esports" made it to pacific franchising, that should tell u how desperate they are to expand their audience

??

3x less viewership compared to what?
Japan, whole of SEA and India could very well amount to 50k+ views (I'm quoting this as very minimum and base viewership)

Addition of GE was not just for views but to break into Indian Valorant scene which has seen both organisation and rise in the last few years so don't just talk nonsense when you know jackshit

Its not "desperate" move, its called including a region that was given minor chances before. Desperate is when you want to make a failed thing work over and over, when they never tried Indian scene officially before wtf is desperate in that?

You're talking as if Pacific was in its dying breath and "desperate" to get into the Indian scene. They're not desperate. They know the scene needs help and Pacific can benefit greatly from the inclusion, barring the amount of interaction they're already getting from SEA, JP, OCE, and KR.

I mean their YouTube game is pretty weak too, considering YT is very big in whole of Asia. They released "Meet the Pacific Teams" teaser, made it private after 2 days then released it again after few weeks.

Their handles are not verified too. They seriously messed up in hiring a good media and marketing agency ig.

Isn't audience expansion the main goal of valorant/riot ecosystem , i dont understand why people get flamed when its just as simple as that .

Bro is behind GE and Riot for being desperate for viewers, but forgot that Riot is planning to introduce an entire league for China to chase viewership.

Verified on Twitter at this point is a joke to a degree. RRQ isn't verified, hell even DRX isn't verified.

And like I said; their entire accounts are new. We haven't seen a unified Pacific/APAC-centric Valorant esports account since the start of the game's launch, and honestly I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt as with new launches, there'll be stuff to iron out and fix.

nope, I think ur just reading a very pragmatic and neutral comment in a very defensive manner, almost as if u secretly thought apac was dying

the truth is apac generates the lowest amount of money, and is the lowest investment region, and letting an org like GE is just because they need indian viewership, it's just pure facts

if GE in it's current state applied for Americas or EMEA franchising they wouldnt even be shortlisted, EVEN if they relocated everything to LA or berlin, facts that will make u mald but not me, because Im unbiased

wtf? Your're such a hypocrite!! You flame GE and Riot for clout chasing but won't flame Riot's decision to introduce an entire league for China for farming viewership.

Flame both if you do, don't be a one sided jerk.

I mean for DRX's case, DRXGlobal's Twitter is verified with yellow badge but ig they can't verify DRX VS seperately as a business (yellow badge) as they come under DRXGlobal. (cuz DRX acquired Vision Strikers)

I don't have an explanation for RRQ's case they're in a different league altogether (both in game and out of the game) 💀

Brotha.... If you don't know, GE which you are referring to as any org is a well structured organisation previously operating in korea for major eSports titles (fortnite & overwatch) before introducing their Indian teams. They had maintained 2 overwatch worldcup teams(team India & team Singapore). And the best thing about this org is that it has never been in any kind of scandal, always doing stuff in professional and pure ways.
So if you're ignorant of facts just don't talk rubbish. GE could even have gotten into EMEA league i believe it's that good of an org. (Not in NA though)

Kekw, this dude focusing on EMEA part. That's not a issue let me fuck his ass. So Mr. Dumbo Ge got into franchising being a shit org according to you. But yours country's reputed org (FPX) didn't even got shortlisted for real. Riot didn't even gave chance to china being the thief of world. Sit back home n chew lollies kid if u don't wanna get ur ass fucked fr.
